Jordan's apartment

I was standing in the bathroom mirror fixing my lashes when I noticed Jordan sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. I went said beside him and started rubbing his back.

"I know you're hurt about the shit with Remy, but I'm sorry ... they were going to kill you baby."

"Ma I'm not upset about what you did. You did what you had to do. I just mad at myself that I didn't see this coming"

"How could you Jordan? None of us were expecting Remy to be a snake. Instead of him and Sean both coming to talk you about shit, they decided to do it the stupid way... and look we're they are now"

"You right ... I'm glad you came today because Ion know how shit woulda went if you weren't there"

"You know I gotchu, you said you wanted me by ya side today"

"You know you special right?" I shrugged it off. Nobody never told me I was special so I didn't really believe it.

"I'm forreal baby. You're special to me. You da only female I've sent flowers too everyday because I wanted her to talk to me. The locket and bracelet. No bitch has gotten more that 10$ outta me. Man Lanae I wanna be under you or with you 24/7. You're always on my mind. I don't think about nobody else like that. Shit , you saved a nigga life today. You're real. Fucking one of a kind... I ain't coming up off you. Know that" I smiled, I loved that Jordan was so open with his feelings and the reassurance that he always given me. I leaned in and gave him a peck on the lips then I stood over and walked to my bag.

"I wanted to wait to put this on because I wanted you to do it." I turned around holding the boxes that held the locket and the bracelet that he had given me. Jordan shook his head and let out a small laugh before getting up and grabbing the box with the locket first.

"Turn around" I turned around to let Jordan put the necklace around my neck. Once he was done, I turned around so he could put on the bracelet. I held up my wrist so he just wrap the beautiful bracelet around and clasp it. I walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

"You like it ?" I didn't realized that Jordan had followed me to the bathroom and was leaning on the door frame.

"Jordan, it's beautiful" . I was lost for words because even though I seen it in the box, it seemed to hit a little differently when I finally put it on. I opened the locket to see the photos of my mom and granny.

"Now moms and granny is with you wherever you go" . Jordan walked and stood behind me placing his arms around me and putting his head on my shoulder.

"You look good ma, but let's head out I'm hungry" he kissed my cheek and left from the bathroom. Why did I wait so fucking long to let this man love me. I followed behind him out the bathroom, grabbing my clutch, keys, and phone.

I was sitting in the living room with Asia and Chanel when Jordan texted me. I had called him last night and told him that I needed to talk to him but he blew me off.
