Lanae finally met Quan, and from what I've observed they're okay. Quan pushed her buttons just a little bit but only to see how she was going to respond. Lanae was ready to go home but I wanted to take her somewhere else.

"Where are we going?" Lanae asked getting more annoyed and agitated with me.

"Here light this blunt and just ride ma, damn" . I handed her a blunt, she stared at me like she was ready to burn a hole in me. After a few seconds she gave in and took the blunt from me.

"What did you see in Tia?" She taking a hit from the blunt.

"Nothing"

"Then why did you mess with her?"

"You ghosted me, I met her in the club. She came in our section and she was sweating me hard, I really wasn't fucking with her. Then I got fucked up and she was still begging and I just wanted a nut to be honest. That's it". Nae looked out the window as she continued to smoke from the blunt.

"Please don't get in yo feelings out this"

"I'm not, just wanted to know why you did it... but it was my fault"

"Nobody is blaming you mamas .... you didn't hold a gun to my head and force me to do what I did... I made that fucking choice and don't sit here and blame your self for what i did"

"But it wouldn't have happened if wouldn't have pushed you away"

"Okay so? Yeah Nae you pushed me away but I'm right here with you now. You're my girl , not Tia ... so just stop"

"But I-"

"I ain't talking bout it anymore and I mean it". Nae just leaned her head back against the seat and continue smoking. The rest of the car ride with silent. She lowkey pissed me off with the bullshit she just pulled but I ain't even gone trip. I had a surprise for her and I wasn't going to let nothing ruin it. Especially not this petty ass conversation we just had. After another 45 minutes passed, we pulled into a deserted parking lot.

"Get out"

"Where are we?" She asked slowly taking off her seat beat and getting out the car. I started walking in a direction of a path, motioning for her to follow me she did. The path ended from being wooden planks to sand. The sound of waves began to grown louder and the smell of salt water began to feel my nostrils.

"Jord-" Lanae gasped at the sight in front of her. I couldn't do nothing but smile. I really outdone myself this time, didn't think I had it in me. I had set up a cute little beach picnic for her.

"What's all this for?"

"Told you I wanted to treat you today. Now come on". We took our shoes off and made our want to the blanket that was covered in rose petals, little finger foods, and wine. There was lights traced around the blanket to make sure we could see once it was nightfall.

"It's beautiful" She spoke as she sat down, I follow behind her doing the same.

"I wanted to do something special for you ma"

"Jordan the necklace and bracelet was enough... you didn't have-"

"I wanted too, you deserved it" . Nae started to blush I could tell she didn't know what else to say.
