Bonnie had put a spell on the Gilbert residence to keep Elena from trying to sacrifice herself again and Jeremy had kicked out his big brother to keep him from taking the spell away and letting their sister go. Godrick would have been offended if he wasn't self aware enough to know that he was incapable of saying no to his sister.

So the eldest Gilbert sibling desided to spend his day at the old witch house. He still had a lot of work to do and now was the perfect timing. His deal with Katherine had fell through but the odds were on his side.

He had a werwolf in the new woman in town, and if not her then the pack that will surly follow when she realises Mason is dead and the moonstone is here. He had Katherine for a vampire, and if that didn't work out he had three vampire making factories in the Salvatore brothers and Caroline. Elena's role did not need to be elaborated on, and there was no dout Klaus would have his own witch to preforme the ritual. All he was missing now was the spell from Emily's grimoir.

He had debated with himself for while now, but ultimatly he came to a easy conclusion. He needed the spell from the book, and he didn't want to risk asking Bonnie, she could say no, or start asking question he had no intentions of answering so this was easier. He was going to try to call the book to himself and he was going to use the moonstone as a counter balance.

The stone was a resipiant for what could only be discribed as a shit load of power, it had enough magic to male rips on it's own. Godrick just needed to give it a push as to where to go, and the object had enough power that it should allow him to keep the book for as long as he needed.

He still had to be carefull though, he did not want to drain the power from the stone, he still needed it to work. That wasn't his only problem however, Bonnie was one too. He had known she would recognize a fake very quickly, but he hadn't expected her to use the fake as a tracking devise for the real one. She was getting very good, very fast.

He had had to put a little magic in his fake stone so it could fool the other's long enough for him too hide the real one, it was almost nothing really and it would have faded by now, but Bonnie was using that residual magic to trye and track the one who did it. Good news was that the magic in the stone wasn't his own so she couldn't track it diretcly to him. Bad news was that the magic he used on the stone was the same magic he stored in his ring and Bonnie wasn't stupid. All she would need was a direct connection to his ring through physical contact and she would know it was him.

Not to mention the fact that the magic he was about to preform was a little bit on the dark side of the spectrum and he did not want her to know what he was doing so he hid himself in the witche's house. They agreed to overlook the type of magic he used as long as he helped them get read of Niklause and he was going to take full adventage of that.

So there he was in the witch house's basement, seven candles set in a cercle around him, a knife in his hand and the moonstone in front of him on the floor.

Godrick focused on the magic around him and put his free hand on the wooden floor. He had already restored his ring to full capacity and he wasn't about to use the magic he just got when he could use something else. The young man focused on the magic flowing throught the house and started taking it into himself. He could take a lot more then he had been able too a few months ago and he had to fight with himself to ignore the rush the income of power gave him.

Taking his hand away for the floor he closed his eyes for a moment before he opened them again, he barely had to focus for the candles to light and the ritual to begin. This one was a little different than what he had done before, he required a bigger sacrifice then if he was transporting himself and that is why he had the knife.

Taking the blade in his right hand, he put the double edge ceremonial knife in the palm of his left hand before closing his fingers around it. This retual came from Now Orleans, so the incantation was in frensh.
