Mattia helped me calm down and I laid down on top of him while he rubbed my back softly.

M: you know it's not your fault, right?
A: I know but... I always feel guilty because if I wasn't here maybe my dad would still be alive.

Mattia looked at me serious and shook his head. He started stating reasons why I shouldn't say that and I chuckled before kissing him softly. He cuddled with me and I slowly fell asleep.

I woke up and changed into something casual. Mattia quickly got ready and we drove to my mother's house. I felt my my blood start to boil but I tried calming down.

M: I love you.
A: I love you too...

Mattia kissed me and we got out of the car walking up to her house. I knocked and she opened the door smirking. I wanted to beat her up right then and there but I didn't I just kept a straight face.

A: I just came to see my dad.
??: *laughs* that dead bitch? He's in the backyard like always. Say happy birthday quickly cuz I don't want trash in my house.
A: But you live here🤨

She rolled her eyes and moved out of the way so that Mattia and I could walk in. We went to the backyard and I saw the place my dad was buried. I smiled and his photo and bent down placing my gifts on his tombstone.

A: Happy Birthday papà, I miss you...

Young man found dead in his home. Police say he was beaten to death but no one really knows what happened. His wife called 911 terrified and scared while his daughter didn't seem to notice what happened.

I said finally talking back to her. She was about to slap me but Mattia stood in front of her.

I continued talking to my dad and I started feeling his presence. I smiled and wiped my tears away.
