I said picking Maya up and placing her in her car seat. She smiled and I kissed her cheek before getting in the drivers seat. Luca rolled his eyes and got in the car.

I said starting the car and driving back to our house.

I ignored him and continued driving.

He said a little louder making me flinch.

Luca looked at me annoyed and I looked away turning to the right so that we could take the long way home.

Maya started crying and he looked at me indicating that I was suppose to make her stop crying.

He handed Maya her pacifier and she slowly fell asleep.
