I woke up the next morning to feel Alfie's arms around me, my head and arm still laying on his bare chest. I shifted, moaning at the soreness between my thighs. "Good mornin', angel," he whispered huskily. I looked up at him, a sleepy smile etched on my face. "God I could wake up like this for fuckin' ever," he whispered, and I nodded in agreement as he pulled me in tighter. "How long have you been up?" I asked, my voice thick with sleep. "About 'alf an hour, just watchin' ya sleep," he said softly. "That's not creepy at all," I chuckled, as he ran his fingers across my cheek. "Last night was incredible, angel," he whispered, and I looked back up at him, running a hand over his jaw and letting my fingers play with his facial hair. "It was," I hummed softly. "Fuckin' best I ever had," he said, and I chuckled. "You've probably had better," I chuckled, looking up at him as he shook his head. "No, no, no, right, you're the fuckin' best. I've never made love before last night. Fucked around, sure, but it all feels different with you, love. Like we were made for each other," he replied. "A perfect fit," I smirked, and he let out a laugh. "A perfect fuckin' fit angel," he whispered, kissing me softly. I gazed down his chest at the red marks my nails had created over his inked skin. "I'm sorry," I chuckled, tracing over them. "You're fuckin' sorry? Take a look at yaself love," Alfie chuckled. I looked down to my chest and my hips, which were adorned with bruises and marks from his teeth and lips. "I'm gonna have to dress like a nun today to cover that up," I chuckled, and Alfie shook his head.

"I want everyone to see that you're fuckin' mine," he said, kissing me softly again. "I'm fucking yours," I chuckled as we broke apart. "I have to go back to Ada's today," I said softly, wondering how late in the morning it was. "No ya don't, angel, you're gonna stay right fuckin' here with me," Alfie replied, and I laughed. "My family can't know about us. We both know that. They'll come looking if I've suddenly gone missing for twenty four hours," I replied. "Why don't ya move in here, yeah?" Alfie asked suddenly. "You're asking me to move in with you?" I asked, sitting up and looking down at him as his hands traced circles on my back. "Yeah, move in with me, angel. I'm in fuckin' love with ya," he whispered. "A-alfie," I gasped, my jaw dropping at his confession. He looked away from me as if afraid of what I'd say. It was clear he'd never been in such a vulnerable position before, and that terrified him. I placed a gentle hand on his cheek, forcing his gaze back to mine. "I love you too," I whispered, and he grinned widely, pulling me roughly into his chest and kissing me hard. "So move in with me then, yeah?" he said as we broke apart and I lay on top of his chest.

"Alfie....my family," I reminded him. "So leave half ya stuff at ya sister's, she can cover for ya if your brother comes fuckin' knocking. You can go back to fuckin' Birmingham anytime ya like, but when you're in London, ya live here," he said, and I remained quiet for a moment. That just might work. Ada would cover for me, especially now that Alfie was back on good terms with the Peaky Blinders. "What do ya say, angel?" Alfie asked, his other hand reaching up and grazing my cheek. "Yes," I breathed, a grin spreading across my face, "Yes, yes, yes!" I laughed, throwing myself at Alfie, who grinned and embraced me tightly.

"Now, what do ya say we make fuckin' breakfast, and then you can go get ya stuff from ya sister's and come back here, and we can fuckin' celebrate," Alfie smirked. "I think that sounds wonderful," I smiled, leaning in to kiss him. We broke apart after a moment and Alfie rose from the bed, throwing underwear on. "Right, now, you stay fuckin' there, I'll be back in a moment," he said, and I nodded, pulling the blankets up to cover my breasts as I leaned back into the pillows, closing my eyes once more. I'd given up on love, a future, being happy, thinking my life would be filled with nothing but Peaky business...and now here I was. Happy and content...and in love. With Alfie fucking Solomons. The man I'd never expected anything with. Who made me happier than I'd ever been. Who treated me gently and kindly, and as if I was the most important thing in the world. Who wasn't afraid of my family. Who was incredible in bed. And who was downstairs making me breakfast.
