So I read your comments for the last chapter and there was a bit of confusion so I just continued writing. This probably hasn't answered any of your questions but hopefully everything will make sense soon enough ❤️
"But Anth he's not made for carrying all that! Look at his little legs!" I whined, tugging at Ant's sleeve as he tied all our bags to Cupcake's back.
"It's not like I'm strapping him to a cart Declan. Your pet is a mule, he was literally born for this." Ant grumbled, shrugging my hand off while tighting his knots.
"But he doesn't like having things on his back!" I whined dramatically, "Look at his ears you're upsetting him! And It messes up his fur!"
The Prince rolled his eyes with a huff and let himself be pushed back as I wedged myself between him and my donkey to start undoing his ropes.
"He's my donkey not yours." I pouted, chucking one of the bags to the blonde haired man who'd been watching me with amusement, his face dropped as he caught the first sack while I grinned devilishly, "Carter can carry the bags."
Carter stuttered his protests beneath the mountain of bags in his arms while Ant held yo his hand to silence the soldiers whining. The dark haired man gave me a seemingly smug smirk as I moved to give him a quick kiss while the soldier was distracted and buried beneath bags.
"What happened to my sweet little submissive stable boy?" Ant hummed under his breath as we put some distance between each other.
I giggled and moved towards a donkey, "I think you mean Stable Master, your majesty."
Ant chuckled and shook his head, getting us moving again, "I've created a monster."
"A cute one though." I winked but it kinda just turned out like a bad blink and my confidence was replaced with a shy blush on my cheeks while Ant chuckled and shot me the most perfect, drop dead handsome wink.
"Show off." I mumbled, my lower lip protruding in a sulky pout.
The taller man shook his head and looked back at Carter who'd managed to rearrange the bags in order to carry them all. "Come on Charles don't fall behind."
"Carter, sir."
"Of course." Ant replied not really paying any attention to the older man as we walked. He was such an ass when he got jealous.

It felt like we'd been walking for days when in fact it had only been a few hours. It was Ant's walking pace though, he took such long strides my little legs couldn't keep up so good.
"Anth can you slow down? My legs hurt."
"We are almost there Declan."
"Where?!" I exclaimed in exasperation, dragging my feet as I slogged behind him. I gestured to the endless sea of forest, "There is nothing here Anth and I'm hungry. Let's have some snacks."
"If I need to carry you there Declan I won't hesitate, so I suggest you quit the whining."
I furrowed my brow and pouted at his attitude before stopping with a stomp of my foot. Ant kept on moving while Carter awkwardly shuffled past me, giving me a curious look as he moved.
"Youse can't go anywhere without me so when I say we stop, we stop." I put my footdown on the matter but quickly realised my mistake.
