Was too sleepy to edit the rest so only the first bit is going to be good...
Hope this fixes your boredom
Good night
And enjoy x
Ant had us travelling non-stop. It felt like he wanted the whole army moved east in a day. Of course this was impossible and even worse there was a storm rolling in. It took me a lot of complaining and puppy eyes to get the dark haired man let us rest for the night but it was worth it when we reached a sheltered side of the mountain with shallow caves all up the hillside.
Much to my resentment, sleeping in a cave extended myself and Ant's long bout of celibacy because we had to share with our group.
I hadn't protested when Robbie purposefully put my roll-mat on the otherside of the cave to Ants but I got my own back, making sure to 'accidentally' spill my water onto the knights bed as I walked past.
"Great. Thanks Your majesty. Real mature." The black haired soldier grumbled as he tried his best to wipe away the moisture.
I blinked at Robbie innocently. "Whoopsie."
Ant snickered from where he was sat on his bed, leant back against the cave wall, having his broken knuckles cleaned and redressed by the doctor.
My bed was between the opposite wall to Ant and Hugo's bed. It seemed an unspoken rule that Hugo took priority when it came to proximity to me. Which although I didn't feel in danger, I did think was sensible. On Ant's left side was Robbie who had Stephen and Tristan squished in the middle of the small cave. It was cosy and I found myself jealous of not just Robbie for sleeping where I should be, but of Stephen and Tristan too. I knew they sometimes played together— in the same way me and Anth did. I'd be very mad if they got to cuddle and stuff when we didn't. That didn't seem fair. After all, they just did it for fun... Anth and I were in love.

I slept quite peacefully, until I was woken by a sudden roaring cackle of thunder. The noise reverberated through my chest and sent a harsh shiver down my spine. My heart pounded as I sat up, looking out at the entrance of the cave and seeing a long strip of lightning in the distance. I jumped and whimpered, pulling my blanket up to my chest and shaking in fear. My eyes darted instinctively to the otherside of the room and when I saw Anthony awake, sat up leant against the wall as though he'd not moved from that position all night. I immediately felt relief.
I shuffled out of my bed, was very careful not to wake everyone and tiptoed my way over the sea of bodies. Deep blue eyes followed my movements and twinkled with a soft smile when I worldlessly plopped into his lap, immediately snuggling into his big strong chest.
"Are youse scared of the thunder too?" I whispered as quietly as I could.
"No baby." Ants hand smoothed my hair until I'd stopped shaking and then pulled me closer so I was sat flush against him. It felt like the safest place to be.
"Why are youse awake then?"
His chest rose and fell with a long breath and with both his arms wrapped around my small body, he pulled me in close, his nose going to my hair— holding his breath for a second to enjoy my scent before dipping his head and mumbling against my neck, "had a nightmare."
