The Creed of Remnant (RWBY X Assassin's Creed)

Chapter 2: The Opportunity

"From Dust Till Dawn" dust shop, Signal, 7pm

Ruby made it to the dust shop, but got ditracted by the ablum's the shop was selling (for some reason). As she started to test one of them, she didn't hear a group of thugs entering the shop, led by a man with orange hair and a black hat. A red cross could be visible on his white coat.

Gang leader: Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?

Shopkeeper: P-please! Just take my lien and leave!

Gang leader: Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. (turns to the henchmen) Grab the Dust.

The henchman started collecting dust into special containers, while the gang leader and another henchman stayed with the shopkeeper, placing an open case in front of him

Henchman 1: Crystals. Burn. Uncut.

As another henchman went for another tube, he heard a muted song from the Ruby's direction, and unsheathed his sword, pointing it at her.

Henchman 2: Alright kid, put your hands where I can see 'em.

Ruby didn't respond, she was still distracted by the albums and didn't hear the henchman through the song.

Henchman 2: Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something!?

He went over to Ruby and turned her around, the hood dropped and revealed a surprised Ruby wearing headphones. The henchman motioned for her to lower them.

Ruby: Yes?

Henchman 2: I said, put your hands in the air, now!

Ruby: Are you... robbing me?

Henchman 2: Yes!

Ruby: Ooohhh...

Ruby quickly grabbed the henchman's wrist and made him drop his sword, before jumping up and finishing him off with a strong punch. When the henchman fell down, Ruby waved her hand a bit and waited for it to stop hurting.

Ruby (in thought): I guess dad's training was useful after all.

She used her eagle vision to look around, spotting all the remaining henchman, unfortunately, she got spotted as well. Another henchman came up to her and pointer a gun toward her.

Henchman 3: Freeze!

In response Ruby kicked the henchman with both of her legs and the both of them crashed through the window. The other men looked outside as Ruby got up and unfolded the Crescent Rose into its scythe form. She smiled back at the them before taking a fighting stance and turned off her headphones.

Gang leader: Okayyy... get her!

All the henchman runned out of the shop and charged at Ruby with their swords out. Ruby spinned around and kicked the first one in the face. She got her weapon out of the ground and fired it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying. She fired again and brought the side down on another one while dodging the gunfire by boosting her self with her rifle, getting close enough to knock the shooter into the air and making him land in front of the gang leader.

Gang leader: You were worth every cent. Truly, you were. (faces Ruby) Well, Red, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around... (he raised his cane) I'm afraid this, is where we part ways.
