"Are you sure the message was put in there? What if they don't end up receiving it?"
"Calm down. They are not completely incompetent, like you. They will find it. It is only just a matter of time by now..."
"I hope they make it out alright. The Hope's Peak ones are being monitored by the other half of the operation. They can't seem to figure out how she managed to plant her AI in both of the simulations."
"Someone probably planted them there in her place. It is not uncommon with everything that is happening."
"...man...this sucks..."
"Stop complaining about it. It is very annoying."

Jiro remained silent as stared out towards the horizon. No matter how many times he looked, he couldn't see a single thing in the distance. But it felt like something was there.
So close, yet so far. The most recent events have had him thinking about the current situation more often.
"Jiro-chan. What are you doing?"
Narrowly stopping himself from leaping into the sea, Jiro spun around to face the speaker.
"I-Isukama-san? What do y-you want?" He asked.
"What do I want? Nothing much. I just want to chat a bit." She said walking up next to him.
Jiro shrunk away slightly as she approached.
"A-about what? We have n-nothing to talk about. I don't trust you..." he murmured through grit teeth.
"No need to be so hostile. I'm not going to hurt you. Why are you so afraid of me, Jiro-chan?" She asked, taking a step towards him.
He took a step back.
"You tampered with a crime scene. You could've gotten us all killed. And you tried to kill me too. I have no reason to trust you." He said.
She took another step towards him, making him take another step back.
"Ara Ara~, you really hate me, don't you, Jiro-chan. It's a shame. Perhaps in another life, we could've been friends." She said, giggling.
"Wh-what are you going on about?" He asked.
"You don't know? I thought that everyone would remember by now. Strange. Perhaps it's because Jizo-sama kept my memories safe. But who knows." She prattled on.
"What are you talking about?!" Jiro asked.
Guren remained silent for moment, simply staring directly into Jiro's eyes. He felt an overwhelming sensation of deja vú.
His body was completely paralyzed. No matter how much he willed it to, his body wouldn't budge an inch.
Heart pounding against his chest, Jiro could only stare in fear.
The only thing he could move was his eyes.
When he blinked, he was shocked to see that Guren no longer stood in front of him.
Instead, it was someone else.
"Kinoshita-san? Are you feeling alright? You look deathly pale."
'Fukuda-kun?'
He blinked again, and Yasha was gone, replaced by someone else.
"Jiro-kun. A-are you alright? You look a b-bit....frozen."
