The next few days weren't easy. Everyone had to keep a close eye on the students that were still in a coma.
But those from Soaring Heights quickly became friends with those from Hope's Peak.
Jiro and Hajime liked to take long walks, simply just talking about their friends and nothing more for hours on end. If you woke up early enough, you could see them talking on the shore of the beach.
Itsuki and Sonia quickly became aquatinted due to their similar royal status's. Especially after the discovery of a cat on the island, they took turns in feeding and caring for the creature, whom seemed to be incredibly friendly with only them. No one knew why.
Fuyuhiko and Gin seemed to have a silent agreement of mutual respect. After losing the person they loved the most, they were both rather anxious of their partner waking up or not. Rumor says that they would eat together more often than not. Although, they never spoke to each other more than a few sentences at a time.
Surprisingly, Haku and Souda were spending time together. After learning that Haku couldn't read, Souda, as the gentleman he is, decided to take it upon himself to give her some tips on it. As days passed, they agreed to meet everyday so that Souda could teach Haku to read. But it did become difficult when Souda began missing their sessions when he got caught up chasing Sonia.
Akane seemed to be rather fond of Haise, whenever she was in control, the two would openly spar and would hang out like old friends. Although when they were fighting, it was best to stay far away from they unless you wish to be caught in the crossfire.
Although their bodies were still recovering from everything they've gone through, they never seemed to lose hope.
There were a few problems when they woke up. For instance, they had to get used to their grownup bodies.
Jiro, during his time as despair, did substantial damage to his throat, mostly likely from scratching, so it was difficult for him to speak. Whenever he attempted to do so, it would cause him incredible pain.
For the Ookami sisters, they had woken up with Haise in control. A problem with their body was an irremovable metal collar around her neck. It was imbedded so deeply into her neck that if they were to remove it, the result could easily be fatal. Not even Hajime knew how to safely remove it, so they kept it on for the time being.
For Haku, she was incredibly skinny. Much more than before. During her time as despair, she had supposedly starved herself to the point where her ribs had poked through her skin slightly. She had to be hooked to an IV drip almost immediately.
For Gin, he was relatively the same, but just older. He looked like he had been through hell though. There were bags under his eyes, and long since dried blood in his hair.
For Itsuki, he looked mostly the same, it just looked like his hair had grown much longer. It was down to the base of his neck now.

Both classes agreed that they would help each person that woke up, no matter which school they belonged to. After all, they were all the same. Survivors had to help fellow survivors.
A few of the kids from Hope's peak had woken up within the first few weeks. Although, it wasn't exactly in the way they had expected.
Ibuki Mioda. She woke up screaming. When she rose from her pod, she began clawing at her neck, almost like she was trying to remove something that wasn't there.
Teruteru Hanamura. He was woken up by such an irregular fever. He was spouting nothing but gibberish.
Mahiru Koizomi. She was the most disoriented, saying how much her head was hurting. She acted rather calm, although she was in a daze for most of the time that she was removed from her pod.
