"Leiko!! Leiko!! Where are you?" Gin continued to call out for the girl.

He was surrounded completely by nothing but white. Where the hell was he?! But more importantly...

Where could she possibly be?

Thankfully, it didn't take long for him to get his answer.

"Kojima-kun?"

That made him freeze. She hadn't called him that in years. Why was she doing it now?

He whipped around to face her. Only...it wasn't her? Wait. No. I was definitely her. But...she was younger. Back when Gin first met her.

"Leiko...?" He called out.

The girl turned her back to him.

"Do you like singing?" She asked.

Before he could respond, Leiko disappeared. She was just...gone.

"Gin-san...?"

He heard her voice again. He turned around and locked eyes with another Leiko. This one was a little older. But not by much. However, she had bruises along her arms and a dark cut on her cheek. She had been crying. He remembered this.

"Th-they hurt me again...!" She choked out.

Gin moved forward, but he wasn't quick enough to get to her before she disappeared.

Why was this happening? It was like he was living his life all over again.

"Gin-chan...?"

Gin turned towards the voice, discovering another version of Leiko. But this one was a little older than the last.

"I...I don't want to be here anymore. It's not living at all. It's like I'm already dead..." she said, tears falling from her eyes.

Gin reached out with his hand, trying to reach for Leiko. But, once again, she disappeared before he could get to her.

"Damnit...damnit...STOP MESSING WITH ME!!!" The bodyguard shouted into the infinite white surrounding him.

"Gin?"

The body stiffened completely. The way she said his name. It was more common to him. He slowly craned his neck to look behind him, but he was ANYTHING but prepared for what he saw.

Leiko was there. But...her body was full of so many bloody holes. Just like in her execution.

Gin found himself stumbling forward, trying to reach for the girl, but something was holding him back. Some unseen force was keeping him from Leiko.

No matter how much he struggled, he didn't budge an inch. He fell to his knees and began clawing at the ground, trying to move towards Leiko.

He was so caught up in moving, that he didn't notice that Leiko had appeared right in front of him.

She knelt down beside the boy, cupping his cheek in her hand.

"Y-you must never kneel to me...I'm...beneath you..." Gin spoke the words he said that day. He didn't know why, but he felt that he had to say them.

Leiko smiled warmly at the boy. She leaned forwards and touched their foreheads together.

"You are the same as me, Gin. I'm not an Heiress, and you're not my bodyguard. We're just people, Gin. You matter to me just as much as I matter to you." She said.
