"D-do either of you have your...Monopad's on you?" Jiro asked.
"I do." Haku responded.
"Can you...read the Monokuma Files for Windrider-san's death?" He asked.
A moment of silence fell between them. Haku pulled out her Monopad and talked around a few times. When she opened the Monokuma Files, she handed the device to Jiro.
"Can you read it?" She said.
Still confused, Jiro took the Monopad and glanced over the file before reading it aloud.
"Victim Name: Nao Windrider
Estimated time of death: 2:30 pm - 2:40 pm
Victim was found in: Gallery
Notable injuries: Snapped neck"
Jiro glanced over it once more to be sure he didn't miss anything.
"I guess...that's all there really is to know..." he mumbled.
After tapping around again, he pulled up the Monokuma Files for Hiroto and began to read it.
"Victim Name: Hiroto Yokoyama
Victim was found: Outside, behind the mansion
Notable injuries: Back of head is split open. Multiple bones are broken or shattered
Other notes: His birds were not with him when he died."
As he finished, he felt a shiver run down his own spine. The differences in the two murders that occurred were so drastic that it couldn't have been the same killer!
"For Yokoyama-san...it d-doesn't say exactly HOW he died...or even the time of death..." Jiro pointed out, although mostly to himself.
He handed the Monopad back to Haku before he turned to Gin.
"Kojima-san. Can you tell the others to start searching the mansion for clues? But also to make sure that Yokoyama-san's body is guarded by at least two people." He instructed before adding a quiet "...please."
Gin seemed hesitant before nodding slowly. He turned and exited the gallery, leaving Jiro and Haku alone with Nao's corpse.
"Upupu~, looks like things are finally heating up around here! It was about time! It was getting a bit too chummy around here."
Jiro screamed and nearly jumped into Haku's arms as the bear appeared behind him without warning. However, he only ended up cowering behind the girl instead.
Very manly.
"What do you want? Haven't you caused enough trouble already?" Haku asked.
"There is never not room for more trouble! But that isn't the reason I'm here. I had a feeling that someone wanted to ask something." Monokuma said, peering around Haku and towards Jiro.
"W-well...I was actually wondering. S-since two people were...killed, what would happen if there's two different killers?" He asked
"A 'paw'sitively good question, Squidward! If there are two blackened's, then you will only need to find the first blackened, and the second will be able to go scot-free!"
"W-what?! That doesn't sound e-even remotely fair! I-it's like saying we d-don't have to investigate Windrider-san's death because it was irrelevant." He shouted, completely flabbergasted.
"That's correct! Mister Nao Windrider here isn't relevant! Even if you find his killer, there will be a chance that it's not the same killer, and you'll just have wasted your time!"
