It had been a rough two weeks since Mikan had entered the academy.

She had passed the test to get in but her whole class hated her.

Apparently it wasn't very common for a student to enrol in the academy mid-year.

That's why it came as a surprise to her when Narumi sensei announced the arrival of a new student.

'Haruna Shibuya' was written on the board.

"Everyone, welcome Haru-chan warmly please. She, like Mikan-Chan, has the nullification Alice."

Mikan's expression lightened up, suddenly she didn't feel so alone, on the other hand, The rest of the class started mumbling.

Mikan knew what was waiting for the girl who was about to get inside, but she promised herself that she would make sure Haruna wouldn't feel as lonely as she did, specifically since Haruna didn't have Hotaru like Mikan did.

Suddenly a girl with platinum blonde wild hair entered the class quietly.

She stopped in front of everyone and gave a soft smile.

"My name is Haruna Shibuya. I hope we can all get along," she said. She had a beautiful melodic voice and soft but cold grey eyes. She wasn't the most beautiful girl Mikan had seen, but she was very cute and looked mysterious and smart.

"to show you around, Ruka-Kun will be your partner. You can sit between him and Natsume-Kun." Narumi said and left right after.

"you must be kidding!" Permy shouted making the new girl jump a little bit "she just arrived. She doesn't look powerful at all, and since she has the same Alice Sakura has, she probably isn't! And she gets the best seat in the whole class?!"

Everyone looked at Haruna, who just looked at the man next to her, apparently the teacher.

"where am I supposed to sit again? I have no Idea who Ruka is," she whispered so only the man would hear her. He was crying, and since students were throwing things at him he didn't answer. She knelt next to him, in an attempt to comfort the grown-up while being painfully aware of how bad she was at it"Sir, please, you're supposed to be the teacher..."

Suddenly, one of the projectiles landed on her. The whole class watched as her expression changed.

She got back up right before someone else threw a can at her and she trapped her right in front of her face.

Everyone stopped whatever they were doing and they stared at Haruna as she smashed the can between her fingers and threw it in the trash.

"Alright," she said, with a different tone, she didn't sound as cheeky anymore and her little smile was nowhere to be seen. "Ruka-Kun, please raise your hand so I know who you are" a shy hand rose. It was a blonde boy with a bunny in his arms. "Thank you" Next to him a black-haired boy was glaring at her. "I'm assuming the angry-looking kid next to you is Natsume?"

Ruka nodded and she started walking. "before I sit down" She said feeling all the stares of her new classmates "does anyone have any questions?"

"Do you have any Alice aside from the nullification one?" a dark-haired girl asked. "one that makes you reflexes more agile."

"I do have another Alice. In fact, it's the one that made me come here. I didn't know I had the nullification Alice as well until about five minutes ago." She said calmly "It doesn't have to do anything with my reflexes though."

"What is your other Alice?" A boy asked.

"I won't be telling that until I know for sure I can trust you."

"Did you come here on your own like Mikan?" A girl asked.

"I did. Who's Mikan? You've mentioned her like four times already."

"I-I'm Mikan Sakura... Nice to meet you, Shibuya-San" the girl with twin tails answered shyly.

"apparently we share a rare Alice. Please, call me by my first name," she said with a soft expression again. For some reason Mikan gave Haruna a familiar feeling. As if they had a deep connection they didn't know of. "It's very nice to meet you, Mikan-Chan. Anything else?"

"There is something else" Sumire stood back up. "Who do you think you are?? Just coming here, trying to come off as an Alice instead of what you really are, a peasant, coming as a mysterious idiot not wanting to tell us what your other Alice is! I'm sure it's a lie anyway and you don't even have a second Alice." Haruna raised a brow.

"You don't even know me and you already dislike me. Is that usual or am I a special case?" she said calmly. "You are quite the hypocrite, you know that? I just got here and answered all of the questions you guys had about me. I, on the other hand, know nothing about anyone here. So I wouldn't say I'm the mysterious one right now. And yes I am the new one and I am the one answering but since I just got here and I don't know anybody I think it's only normal that there are things I don't feel comfortable sharing with everyone yet... " Mikan who would be sitting in front of Haruna whispered the girls nickname. After that a smirk was drawn on Haruna's face. "Permy."

She looked at Ruka who was staring at her. "May I?" She said. Ruka nodded and he got up to let her through. Like Narumi had said, she sat down in between him and the boy named Natsume.

Permy sat back down and slowly the typical class noise was back. Mikan and the girl next to her turned around. Haruna observed Mikan's friend. She had short hair and purple eyes, she also looked very calm. She was basically beautiful

"That was amazing!" Mikan said with a huge smile "I can't believe you put Permy in place!"

"My name is not Permy and She didn't put anyone in place." the girl mumbled

"Thanks... I guess. How long have you been in the academy?" Haruna asked.

"Two weeks. I'm new too, I'm actually Natsume's partner" Haruna looked at the boy next to her. He had a book in his face so he was probably asleep, and waking him up didn't sound like a good idea. "Natsume! Wake up! You haven't introduced yourself" Mikan shouted.

"And I don't plan to" He answered. "She seems stupid" Haruna raised a brow.

"Do I? Are you gonna try to back that up or are you just going to sleep?" she said after a couple of minutes of silence "Seems like calling anyone stupid is a little rich conning from you isn't it?"

Everyone looked at Haruna stunned. Had she seriously called Natsume stupid? Was she trying to die?
