1. What do I want

Tripthi's Pov :

"What am I going to do with this girl? She have been sleeping still". My mother is going on a rampage thinking I am still asleep

"How can I probably sleep when my heart is beating at this rate?" I haven't slept for a minute. Heart is probably doing it's somersaults while Brain is juggling to make a decision. I can't sleep but I just don't want to wake up.

"Krithi come here and help me in waking up your lazy bum sister" my Mom shouted for my sister, she came and followed the old routine of tickling to wake me up and I woke up having no other option left. I smiled at my mother and tried to hug her when she literally dragged me out of bed and warned me to get ready as fast as possible.

"Krithi watch her, she should be ready by an hour, I will send Alisha and others to help you in getting her ready," with that she went out warning me to do everything fast.

"I turned to Krithi akka and passed her a full tooth smile for which I got a glare in return," which means I should probably shut up now and do my work. 

 I ran into the bathroom got freshen up. I needed a really hot shower. After bath my eyes stared at my reflection in the mirror and my eyes showing up something which I don't want to show or express. Tears pooled my eyes and I can hear the voice in my head "Never fill those beautiful brown orbs with the hot tears of sadness, those dark brown eyes should be filled with pride, dreams and tears of only happiness ," I quickly rubbed away my thoughts and ran out of bathroom.

I saw Krithi Akka and Alisha Bhabhi all ready and looking beautiful in their attires waiting for me. I passed a smile at Bhabhi as I know she won't speak to me now. Some cousins joined us and started getting me ready. I just sat there like a robot when people started doing things on my hair, they made me wear a Purple colour saree, cousins did my make up hooting and clapping.

Vishita, my school friend joined us, she said I am looking beautiful which I am never going to believe, then she said "the girl who never wanted to get married and always made a fuss about marriage is sitting like a doll getting ready for the D-day".

Something struck me hard and I shouted at her saying that it's only my engagement and not marriage, to which she replied" Yes today you will get engaged and within a month you will be married, why are you shouting at me for that?"

"Sorry Vishita, she is not in her right senses, she have no idea what is she doing, why is she doing it? So please don't spoil your mood because of her, we are here to enjoy the party because no one knows what is going on her head or what does she want?" Krithi Akka said those words looking sharply into my eyes

I stood there numb I just wanted to react or say something, but have no idea what I should say or do, I looked at everyone and can see Alisha Bhabhi spitting fire from her eyes, my brain stopped processing, I just fell down in the chair looking at my reflection in the mirror with my heart asking the same question "WHAT DO I WANT"...

Starting chapters will always be a little boring as those are from the scratch, but do believe in me this is going to be interesting.
