4. A Ray of Hope

Armaan's PoV :

"Done, it's done everything is done now. I can't do anything now. I lost her with that I lost all my hope, everything is broken". Every dream I saw of our future together is turned into ashes.

Why God why? You know everything, You are the creator and you do everything for our benefit, this is what she says about you every time. Then why have you done it this way. You have no idea how much I want her in my life... No you do have the idea, you are the creator right? then why?

"No matter what happens in life, we should move on embracing every thing life is throwing at us, standing still facing the storms and building a great life", I can recall her every word. 

Yes, I wanted to us to face the storms, raise against the hardships, fight together and build a beautiful future together.

Constant ringing of my mobile broke my thoughts, the caller id displayed 'Rishi', I can't take the call to listen the horrified news, even it is truth I don't want to listen it. I ignored the calls, my landline started ringing too. "Why this guy is hell bent to convey me bad news", I can't stop cursing poor Rishi.

Messages started popping up on my mobile screen, I have no strength in me to open them, A new mail appeared on my laptop with 'subject: Good news', what a Good news now, I opened the mail which screamed LIFT THE PHONE.... Damn it!!! in bold letters.

There is something screaming behind the Bold letters and I ran to pick the call.

 "You idiot, you moron what took you this long to lift the call", I heard Rishi screaming at me. 'Is this the soft spoken and gentleman Rishi I know?' that's not the thing I should be worrying now.

'Ok I accept I am everything you said, but why are you shouting and what the hell the mail signifies?'

"Catch something hard or sit somewhere before listening to this", he said. Rish, "I am already worried please tell me what the damn matter is?"

Mr. Armaan Kohli, keep your spirits high, God has answered your prayers.

 'What do you mean by that?' I questioned him.

 He took a breath before answering me increasing my heartbeat more," She Ran away", my mind took time to process the words he said.

"What?" I shouted after 2 minutes.

" Yes Armaan she ran away from the venue, saying she can't do this, she took the boldest step I never ever dreamt of".. he spoke but my heart can't register anything anymore.

Did she ran away, Does this signifies..

"Armaan are you there, are you listening?" I heard him shouting at me

 "Yes, I did", I replied him with great difficulty," Are you crying?" he asked me.

'Yes, yes this are my happy tears, where is she now? where did she ran away? How is her family reacting?' I asked all questions at one go. 

"People are passing comments, Her Dad is convincing the in laws and her mom is crying worried about everything that had happened. I came to the back door to inform you about this", he replied me

"Everything is messed up Armaan, this should not have happened like this, but what had happened we can't change the past, we can only mend this better now, what do you want to do now?" he questioned me

"I want to make everything alright but where is your impulsive and crazy sister right now, what is the news about her?"

'She is the same impulsive and crazy person you fell in love with and we got a call from relatives staying in her home saying that she went to upstairs and locked herself up there'. Rishi answered me cool.

"What she locked up herself? Then what are you doing here? You know how her mind works at times please go there and do something?" I panic shouted at him.

 "Hold on Armaan Her sister, Alisha and many others already went there, She won't do anything that stupid, we will look after her. Now tell me what you want to do?" he questioned me

"I can't waste a single minute over here man, I am going to catch the next flight available and reach there as fast as possible. This time I am not going to wait for anything, her running away gave birth to A RAY OF HOPE in my heart, which I am never going to let it pass, it's my Do or Die option, I will try to win this, You just take care of my life over there, I am going to reach there as fast as possible."

"Yes Armaan, I am assuring you about your girl, we have much mess to clear here, I will send you where to reach and will be waiting for you, Come fast and be careful", Rishi said to me. 

"Thank you Rish, Thanks for making me alive" I am about to say more when I heard him saying "Ooh cut the crap man, we will deal about that later, now just hang up the phone and reach here.... One more thing It's raining here", he spoke before finally hanging up the call.

"It's raining there? in the month of April?" my eyes fell on the picture of Lord Krishna smiling.. "You did this? yes... thank you, she is right you always bless us with happiness, sorry for my stupid bickering, I am not going to lose this opportunity". Now bless me with strength to win this fight and live my dream.........
