21. The worst Proposal of all-time

 I am so sorry for updating the chapter this late after 2 days, there are 2 reasons for this

1. I have rewritten this chapter again and again, I still don't know how it will be

2. My keyboard gave up on me, few letters stopped working and I wrote the chapter by copy pasting those letters, so it took much time. Due to the pandemic the shops were closed too.

  For compensation I have written the longest chapter upto now.... I will try to update regularly, pray that my keyboard should not given up on me totally

Armaan's PoV :

"Caught what?" She asked me

It's raining quite heavily; I can hear my accelerating heartbeat while she is staring at me with her big donut eyes, I am overwhelming with emotions seeing her close to me.

"What have you caught? Do you need something" she said looking sharply into my eyes. I am lost in the depth of her eyes; those twinkling eyes stole all my words away.

"Shit!! Who in the world says caught you to the girl he loves, where your communication skills went?" my rational mind rebuked me. "You wanted to say her hell lot of things and what have you said to her, be careful Armaan" my heart warned me.

"Excuse me" this time she spoke in a high pitch bringing me back to the real world.

"It's so weird that I wanted to express many things when I met you, but now when you are standing opposite to me I have no idea how the words are going to roll out of my mouth as my heart is in its own state of eternal bliss", I replied in one go.

'What?' she said looking puzzled.

"All I want to say is..... I LOVE YOU", I said firmly looking into her eyes, expressions on her face changed in seconds, and she raised her eyebrows in surprise. When the words left my lips I felt butterflies in my stomach and the whole world came to a standstill.

She kept looking for something behind me, I turned back to see what she is searching for when I can't find anything I asked her "What were you searching for?"

"Camera", she replied.

"Camera? Why are you looking for a camera?" I asked her.

"Because this is a prank right, where is your camera," she asked me.

"What? Why would you think this as a prank?" I asked her not able to comprehend what she is saying.

"It's not a prank then is it a dare from your friends?" she asked me back.

"No it's not a dare, why do you think that I would do such kind of things" this time I replied her annoyed.

"Don't you remember me; we met a few years back like 2.5 years back" I tried to recall her memory.

"Oh Really? We met 2.5 years back? Now cook up more stories as I spoke to you or I already knew you or have helped you and you have fallen for me", she said rolling her eyes.

"This is what happened exactly" I replied feeling ecstatic that she is saying something relatable about our encounter.

"I don't have time to hear all these lies and fall prey to your pranks, move away", she said glaring at me threatening. Her eyes reflected anger.
