Mohan's PoV :

"I said 10 dozens of fresh bananas for today, not raw ones," I yelled at the boy.

"Sir, you should brief that earlier," he shrugged so casually.

How I never had to worry about all these things with Tripthi, she used to wrap everything and now all the burden has fallen over my shoulders.

"Let's go" Surabhi alerted and we sat beside Krithi and Abhishek performing the Havan for the wellbeing of their baby.

Everything around looked so auspicious and my feet refused to stay on the ground since I got to know my first grandchild is going to be here soon.

However, even the thought of my second daughter has been killing me. She must have been happy with that guy without even caring about any of us.

"Bless us Dad" Krithi took our blessings as the Havan came to an end. She looked so happy, it's always her who has been the kind of child I want or anyone wants.

"Surabhi, get that box," I asked.

She was looking at the hollow space defying my order.

"What else must be thinking about her darling daughter who cares for none," Akka said.

"No, it's just" Surabhi couldn't speak and I know she is worried about Tripthi, who cares for none other than her selfishness.

"Ayyo Krithi, you still didn't get it. The good news was only possible because your sister is not dancing on our heads carrying her ill fate. I have always warned your father against her, but his love for her blinded him," Akka chided.

I looked down, my Akka was always right about Tripthi. She has always kept warning us right from the time of Surabhi's delivery. First I fell prey to Surabhi's tears and then to Tripthi.

She never understands anything or anyone, has done everything we said No to.
