7. Plan and Presentation

Remember folks, now the story is dealing with flashback, how everything happened and all

I will write Present, when we come to present where Armaan is flying to get his love back and Tripthi locked herself in a room not knowing what to do.

Armaan's PoV :

"I wish that Almighty may bless you with all the success", her words never left me.

Sir, we will reach our destination within 20 minutes, cab driver informed me, I am no more worried about the presentation. I haven't even touched the file again. That's the kind of magic she has pulled upon me.

'Eat the cookies that will give you strength', I obeyed her words by completing whole packet.

"Standing there getting drenched in the rain, her dress sticking to her body, her big brown eyes, her fascinating hand movements when she spoke something, her braided hair and the million dollar smile", my mind just kept displaying her infront of me.

'Sir we have reached the destination', with that I came back to my senses, He actually drove very fast and we are late by just 20 minutes. I thanked him and gave money for the ride.

"Sir, but I got my payment done through online", he showed me message. 

" What she paid for him online and gave me money, why would she do that? Had she thought that I am really in a dire need? Did I look that vulnerable?" I questioned myself. Time is running already late so I thanked him again and went inside.

Hey, I have an appointment scheduled here in the name of Armaan Kohli, Ikigai Tech.

'Yes Sir, you do have an appointment, but you are late', the receptionist replied me back." I know I have missed the time but please speak to the officials and let them know I am here", I requested her hopefully.

'Man you came now, I am waiting for you here since eternity and what the hell happened to your phone, why haven't you answered it and what happened to your clothes? he shouted at me dramatically.

Kunal, the story is for some other time, now please ask here to inform the investors about my arrival.

'Hey you do still have time, they are not yet occupied so go and convince them, I have put forward everything I had'. Kunal patted my back assuringly and asked the receptionist to let me in as I have time left.

I gave a bright smile to the receptionist and a tight hug to Kunal before entering the main hall.

I knocked before entering the hall, I can see the investors chirping between them, it made me little nervous but I gave them my heartfelt smile, which according to the girl in the rain can turn the tables in my favour

"I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to me, but as you can see it's pouring cats and dogs, I am not taking this as an excuse, I know I should be punctual, I will try to mend that further now I just wish for a chance to put forth my idea", I said in one go without letting my gentle smile fade away.

"As you said you are late and we don't encourage this kind of behavior, we have more people to meet and unlike you they are punctual," one of the board members replied me back.

"Sir, I accept my fault and I know you have to watch more presentations but just give me a chance to show our team's hard work. You can't punish our whole team's hard work due to my mistake and I know people of your caliber will take the correct decision."

'So Mr.Kohli you have some great convincing skills', the lady from the investors group said that smiling. Thanks for that Mam, "I think that's really necessary when you run a company and to make whole team a family". I replied smiling back.

Ok Mr.Kohli go on, We are going to see what your team had done, they replied me.

Taking a deep breath and flashing my smile. I started giving them insights about the project, how we are going to do that, why should they probably invest in our company and Many more.

"Artificial Intelligence can make wonders, we are not even using it a bit, now it's the time, we should start trusting the Intelligence without forgetting our roots and we can create many job opportunities from this", I presented them my whole idea, showed them the plan, assured them of growth percent. "I strongly believe that your investment with Ikigai Tech will bore fruitful results". I concluded my presentation by thanking them for the opportunity.

'Well young man, you have given your presentation but we have others listed up with their ideas, we will let you know our decision after going through all presentations'. They replied me back

"How did that go"? Kunal questioned me as soon as I stepped out.

' I don't know but I said whatever I can', now let's go to the waiting lounge.

"We really need this, I know how hard you have worked. I hope they give you a chance based on your potential and not judge you based on your clothes and punctuality", Kunal said looking around.

'I don't know man, even I want this to happen may be more than anyone but I have done what I can and now I should just wait for their decision and not worry about the result'. I replied back.

"Are you Ok? Have you hit your head at something? How can you be so cool?"

'Care to explain me what had happened'? Kunal questioned me trying to keep a straight face.

"I am perfectly alright or maybe more than that", I replied smiled at her memory.

"Ok there is something I should be knowing, tell me what's behind the lost smile of yours even in this tense time"? Kunal questioned me straight

'This is not the time for that story, we should be working on other ideas too, we should be better prepared for the outcome whatever it is', I replied him.

"Ooh okay, as the boss says, he said bowing to me dramatically". I laughed at his drama.

"Excuse me, Mr. Kohli, the team wants to meet you," some lady said to me smiling.

"All the best", Kunal patted my back and I followed her, where she lead me to the room of delegates.

I smiled at them warmly and I saw a new addition to the 4 members team I presented my ideas to the person sitting in the middle dressed in a Navy Blue tuxedo looking a million bucks.

So Mr.Kohli we have gone through your Plan and Presentation and we think that....
