23. A Small World

Tripthi's PoV :

"Atta... Say Atta" I kept repeating to Mayur.

"You traitor!! How can you do that to my son?" Bhabhi shouted on top of her lungs and took Mayur from my lap saying "He is Mamma's boy he will say Mamma first no matter what happens"

"For one moment you scared the hell out of me Bhabhi," I told her to which she showed her tongue. "You do love me na cutie pie, say Atta," I said again.

"No Mamma" "No Atta" we kept fighting while Mayur kept looking at us with his big eyes making weird sounds and we heard the front door opening and Anna walked inside.

"Rish, you are home this early?" Bhabhi asked Anna as soon as he came inside. "The perks of having a good boss," Anna said coming towards Mayur.

"Take a bath before touching my son" Bhabhi shouted when Anna was about to take Mayur in his arms. 'Ok wifey' saying that he strolled towards the restroom and we resumed our fight.

"God, you people are fighting like wild cats, behave like grownups and why do you people think that Mayur is going to say Atta or Mamma first he is Daddy's boy he will say 'Dad' first" saying that he took Mayur into his arms and we started whining.

We kept playing with Mayur until he slept. 'It's 7 pm so it would be good if we start preparing some dinner' Anna told us.

"We want Maggi" Bhabhi and I shouted in unison. "Maggi? Who eats Maggi at dinner? That won't suffice" Anna told us.

"Maggi is the best dish in the world Annayya and we can eat that from breakfast to dinner" I replied Anna

"Yes Rish, just cook more packets so that we can fill our tummy, do it na Rish, you know na how much I love to eat the food cooked by you" that's it, listening to Bhabhi's words Anna went straight into the kitchen.

"Wow, Bhabhi with your single dialogue Anna entered the kitchen without even saying a word. What have you done? Have you done some kind of magic on him?"

"Yes the magic of 'Love' that can make anything happen, that an even make your Anna cook Maggi for us without preaching the side effects of eating it," she said laughing.

"I will go and get freshen up before the little devil wakes up again" saying that Bhabhi went inside her bedroom. My mind is still stuck at the word 'Love'.

"All I want to say is..... I LOVE YOU" thinking about his words I walked towards the balcony, cool breeze welcomed me. I was lost in the thoughts which haven't left my brain for the past 2 days.

"Why do I feel like I saw him somewhere? Do I really know him? Why am I feeling that he is speaking the truth? Am I thinking too much?" I kept questioning myself.

"Tripthi, you met him on Sunday and today is Tuesday, you are still thinking about him. What had happened to you?" my mind questioned me.

"Why shouldn't she think about him, this is the 1st time someone proposed her that too much effectively, then why wouldn't she be thinking about him. If you want to help her in some way stop questioning her and help her in remembering her encounter with that person" my heart answered on my behalf.

"You two stop quarreling for some time and let me enjoy the nature" saying that I watched the moon covered by clouds.

'Tripthi the climate is changing, it seems like it will rain any minute bring your clothes inside' Bhabhi shouted from the living room. I quickly did as Bhabhi said and drizzle started. I threw the clothes on the bed and ran back to the balcony.

"Trippy don't get drenched in the rain you will catch a cold" Anna shouted from the kitchen. The rain grew and I started enjoying it without even answering Anna.
