"Explain us about Encapsulation"
"Encapsulation.... Encapsulation is a, sorry" I looked down.
"It's a basic question, we can't offer you the role," he said. Dejected I stood up.
When I was about to turn back, I heard him say.
"We are impressed with your communication skills, we would love to have you in our BPO"
"Call Center? No thanks" rejecting the not so generous offer, I walked out of the office dejected.
No, don't be dejected. I know it's our 18th rejection in a row but don't feel bad. You should have felt bad while dozing off in coding classes or while copying in exams, what is the use of feeling bad now? We have more to go.
"Tripthi, give me something" my stomach cried.
"Shh, just hold on for a little time, we are running low we can't afford spending more" like every time I shushed my stomach and got on a bus and rushed to another interview.
"Are you okay? What is with the hand?"
"It's just a small accident Madam, I am alright and I can easily work" I assured HR.
"Though you lack experience, we found your capabilities worthy and we would love to have you as our Assistant HR" she gave a small smile.
"Thank you soo much Madam" I almost jumped from my seat.
"When would you like to join?"
"From this Monday if possible Madam" I can't be anymore happy, I will get 20k.
"Good, be an hour before we have a few formalities to complete. Be here at 9 am" she said and my smile faded.
"9 am? Madam, I clearly mentioned about timings," I pressed.
"We can only offer you this time zone, 9 to 6 your offer letter is here" she forwarded me the letter.
"Thanks for the opportunity, but I can't" as I have nothing more to say I stood from the chair and walked away.
In the total of 27 interviews I faced in the past 6 days, I got rejected in 18 and the company's I got selected, time was the hindrance.
"Come on Tripthi, we barely have 18,000 in hand. You know we can't manage with that and you need a job or else we won't be able to sustain" Mind pressed.
Umm... shall I take up the maid chores? 5k for one house is no less, even if I work in 5 houses it will be 25k and will be helpful in a physical workout too.
"Ohh shut up, for God's sake you are educated Tripthi," heart screamed.
"So? Is there any rule that educated can't work as a maid? Moreover, you fell shamelessly for that human when he did all household chores" I gave back to my heart.
"He is not some human okay? He is our husband" someone admit my heart in a mental hospital, it's hell-bent on calling that human whom I have no relationship with as my husband.
