On the occasion of  Guru Poornima let us take a minute to thank all the people who taught us something or other in life. Everyone we meet teaches us something or other. We should be open to learn the good and chop away the bad. Happy Guru Poornima lovelies....

Tripthi's PoV :

'You people will receive your certificates by Registered Post. We are very happy to say that this is one of the best batches we have trained and we will contact you for the new performances. Thank you' With her speech the 'Natyanivedan Program' of "Nataraj Natyamandali" concluded.

Natraj Natyamandali is a famous dance institute in Hyderabad, they conduct programs, bring dancers from various parts of the country together and help them to give stage performances and they will provide everyone with the valuable certificates too.

This time for Natyanivedan Program conducted by some organisation, Nataraj Natyamandali brought together many dancers from many states. Luckily I got the call from them to join Bharatanatyam troop.

A mini war took place in the house about the decision on why sending me to Hyderabad just for dancing which is really waste according to them as Dance is not going to fetch me any food and it's not good for a 18 year old from a middle class background to dance in front of people.

I literally fought with my parents asking Why they have sent me to dance classes and encouraged me to dance from childhood if they are not willing to let me perform after a certain age.

"Many will be passing comments on you while you are dancing and if someone here the comments they will spread as fire and will be difficult for us to search a groom for you" these are my mother's exact words.

'For God Sake Maa, you are a teacher. You should teach people what is right and what is wrong. You can't fall prey to societal taunts' I snapped at my mother.

'You are young and in this age you don't think much, but we should act maturely because society is going to blame us even for your mistakes' Mom spoke back to me sharply.

'Who makes the society? We people right, call the neighbors and ask them, Does they find anything bad about me performing Classical dance? No one will say a thing badly' I challenged my mother.

'This is a rare opportunity and I don't want to lose this at any cost' I said my final decision.

'Surabhi, I got a call from matchmaker saying that some family settled in Chennai are visiting Hyderabad for some function and they came to know about our Krithi from the matchmaker, they are impressed by her and they want her for their son. I collected some information and from the sources I got to know that they're good and well settled family. So, I am thinking of going to Hyderabad 2 weeks later. What do you think so?' Dad asked Mom.

Two weeks later which means near to my Natyanivedan, I mentally danced.

'Yes Dad, we should definitely go, we should never miss a chance', I replied before Mom.

'You are never in favour of your Akka getting married at 22 right? Then why are you so much excited about that?' My dad asked me looking at my new found excitement.

'That's because she has her own reasons', with that my Mom explained my Dad about my dance program and all.

'Please Dad, you know that I love to dance right and you trust me that I won't do any stupid things naa, please allow me I just need to go next weekend and the program will conclude within 9 days and I can return back with you when you visit there for Akka's match' I pleaded him.
