Yeah, 'Spongebob Squarepants' is my one and only favorite show when I was growing up. But in the present day, I actually don't like the modern designs or details of the show such as the facial expressions, lack of script creativity, out of character, hyperactive wackiness...etc.
Also, some of the show had the good and bad episodes filled with best and worst endings....like 'Spongebob Torture', 'Patrick's A Prick' stupidity, 'Annoy Squidward Torture', 'Mr. Krabs' Greed' for money, 'Sandy's Nut Job' for science, 'Plankton's Evil Mastermind', 'Gary's Petsitting Torment' for cruel animal abuse...etc. And so on.
For me, I love watching the classics instead of the new ones. It didn't match the difference. By the way, I have some good news for you, dear readers. Who's ready for Spongebob's 'Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated Edition'?! It's a brand-new remake game and added a multiplayer mode. 🎮🎮🎮
If you watch it on YouTube, the entire background looks completely fixed, expressive characters, vibrant and so colorful compared to the original dark hues back then. And here's another fact. It's also scattered with 'easter eggs' or references according to the previous or newer episodes of the show.
For example, the chicken face from 'Little Yellow Book', shock meme face from the first movie, Squidward's self portraits, Caveman Spongebob and Patrick from 'SB-129' (a.k.a. Spongegar and Patar), Handsome Squidward...etc. The game is amazing to watch.
I wished Stephen Hillenburg along with Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway (voice of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy) were here to see the HD remake game. It's so sad they all passed away and it brought tears of joy. Three of them will be so proud to see it.
Well...it's for the best anyway. Rest in peace...you've made the best day ever of my childhood. Thank you, Stephen Hillenburg. You made so many people happy, filled with smiles and your legacy will live on. 😭😭😭
