Chapter 1

"Jimin!" Rena called out as she saw the young vampire approaching her table. She was helping the new female students with moving into the dorms, Jiwoo sitting by her side. Jimin smiled as she went over to the table.

"Hi Rena, hi Jiwoo." The girl said, greeting the two elders.

"Where's Jaemin?" Jiwoo asked. Rena put her smile on her face, hiding the twisting feeling in her chest from the sound of his name.

"I'm not sure to be honest. He never really came home. I just dropped off the untouched bag he left at him with Jeno earlier." Jimin said, slinging her bag over her shoulder.

"Ah, he's probably still working on it. I heard it would be a long one." Jiwoo said, turning towards the girl approaching their table. Jimin nodded, agreeing with her words.

"Anyways, I'm going to go unpack. I'll see you two later." Jimin said, heading up the dorm stairs. Rena waved to her before facing the girl in front of them who Jiwoo was introducing herself to.

"What's your name?" Jiwoo asked, looking at the list in front of her.

"Song Nari." The girl answered, smiling to the two.

"Jisung, what the heck did you pack?" Chenle exclaimed as he helped his friend with his bags.

"A lot of school supplies! I actually have to go to proper classes now." Jisung said, tossing one of the bags over his shoulder.

"It's not like you study that hard anyways." Renjun mumbled, earning a glare from the younger.

"You should, academy classes are hard." Jeno said, making his way down the stairs leading to the dorm. Renjun watched as Jeno froze in his spot.

"What?" Renjun asked, turning around. He noticed Jisung turn from the corner of his eyes as well.

"Yah, Na Jaemin, why didn't you contact me all summer?" Jeno cried before running to his best friend.

Jaemin stood at the edge of the curb, a backpack slung over his shoulders, giving them a small smile. Chenle immediately dropped Jisung's bag to head over, Jeno already giving Jaemin a big hug while ruffling his hair. Renjun sighed before he followed.

"Sorry, I got a new phone." Jaemin said. Jeno shook his head, taking the phone from his hands.

"Couldn't even bother to transfer your contacts." Jeno said, inputting his number. Renjun did the same before passing it over to Jisung and Chenle

"Hey hyung, you don't have Rena's number." Jisung pointed out. Renjun noticed Jaemin's eyes widen at the sound of her name.

"Oh, I haven't seen her yet." Jaemin said as he took the phone and placed it back into his pocket.

"How did you get here? Jimin came by earlier with your mom and your stuff, which I already put in your room." Jeno asked as they headed inside the dorms.

"Oh, a faerie dropped me off." Jaemin said. Renjun noticed that he was looking around, taking in each and every part of the dorm.

"Did you forget what the dorm looked like?" Jeno asked, chuckling. He must have noticed as well. Renjun thought. Jaemin smiled before answering.

"I just never noticed how nice it was." Jaemin said as Jeno passed him his keys to unlock his room.

"You spend one summer away from us and you're already starting to lose your mind." Jeno said as Jaemin stepped into his room.

"Ah, you forget a lot over the summer." Jaemin said as he put his bag down before closing his door. Before it could fully close. Renjun stuck his feet in between, surprising all of them.
