"What happened?" Renjun asked once they were settled in the classroom, waiting for the freshmen to arrive.

"I don't know. Jaemin couldn't get in." Rena said, leaning on her arm.

"Yeah, I got that much. But why?" Renjun said as Minjee walked by.

"If Jaehyun doesn't know, what makes you think she will." Minjee pointed out, earning a glare from Renjun.

"No one asked you." Renjun hissed. Before Minjee could reply, Winwin entered, Jisung, Jimin, and the girl Renjun recalled as Nari entered, signalling the start of their meeting.

It was Taeyong's regular speech, reviewing policy, and mentorships, and many other boring things that Renjun had heard too many times. After he was done, they were told to introduce themselves to the only new member by the end of the week, different from the usual speed dating game the would do.

"I can't believe there's only one new member." Renjun whispered to Haechan.

"Yeah, I know. That just means the freshmen are all lacking." Haechan whispered back just as Taeyong dismissed them for supper.

...

"Someone please explain what happened out there." Taeyong boomed at the agency leaders. Jungwoo sank down in his seat. It was the first meeting of the year for the agency leaders and Taeyong was already angry. This is going to be a rough year.

"Jaemin couldn't get through the front doors." Jaehyun told them. "Eye scan was rejected."

"Has this every happened before?" Yuta asked. Taeyong looked at Taeil who shook his head.

"Never seen nor heard of it." Taeil told them.

"So Jaemin can't get into the building then." Ten pointed out. Jaehyun nodded.

"I told him to return to his room. If he can't get in, that means he can't get access to any of the agency's facilities or training." Jaehyun told them.

"At least he's a junior now. They only have mandatory training once a month." Johnny said. The rest nodded in agreement. Freshmen trained three times a week, sophomores twice, juniors once a month, and seniors and leaders had no mandatory training. After sophomore year, the agents would have learned all the skills they needed so the junior year was focused on specializing on a skill and the monthly sessions were for the leaders to ensure that they were up to par.

"Doyoung, see if you can look into why his eye scan isn't working. Perhaps he was booted from the system from his solo mission." Taeyong instructed.

"Got it." Doyoung replied.

"In the meantime, Jaehyun's right. If he can't access the building, he can't train with us. He'll just have to work on his own for now." Taeyong told them.

The leaders nodded, knowing that there was nothing else they could do about the situation for now.

...

Wow the uniforms are pretty nice. Jisung thought as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. The Lower School uniform consisted of a navy blazer, grey slacks, white shirt and navy tie. Jisung was fixing his tie when he heard a knock on his door.

"Hurry up, we're going to be late!" Chenle called from the other side. Jisung chuckled as he grabbed his bag before exiting his room.

"Sorry, I just wanted to look good for the first day." Jisung said as he smiled at Chenle. The elder boy rolled his eyes.

"There's no one to impress anyways. You're forgetting that you're not seeing Jimin anymore." Chenle said, tossing him an apple.

"I wasn't trying to impress Jimin." Jisung lied as he took a bite, following Chenle out of the dorms.

"Well it would have been your lucky day if you were." Chenle said, motioning to the girl walking towards the agency building.

"Jimin!" Jisung called out, running towards her. He heard Chenle laughing but chose to ignore him.

"Oh, hi Jisung." Jimin said, giving him a small smile. Jisung was glad he took the extra five minutes to brush his hair that morning as the girl looked him up and down. "Nice uniform."

"Thanks. Did you have breakfast yet?" Jisung asked her.

"Yeah, unlike you." Jimin said, giggling as she pointed at her apple.

"Yah, Park Jisung, we really need to go." Chenle said, pulling at his arm. Jimin gave him a small push.

"Go pay attention to class for once." Jimin said, waving before turning away. Jisung couldn't help but smile as he waved back.

"Jisung, I'm not kidding. I don't want detention on the first day." Chenle said as he dragged Jisung towards the academy.

"Okay okay, I'm coming." Jisung said, walking faster alongside Chenle.

...

Rena noticed Jaemin looking around the lockers, pouting.

"Did you forget your locker number?" Rena asked. Jaemin gave her a sheepish grin.

"It's this one." Rena said, pointing to his locker. She watched as he hesitantly put his student card against the small black panel, his locker popping open.

Rena was surprised that her photos with Jaemin were still inside. But then again, she had kept their photos as well, not having time to remove them before heading to Renjun's place. She quickly returned back to her locker to retreive her books. When she was done, Jaemin was back at her side.

The two quickly made their way to their homeroom class, where their friends were already waiting. Rena took her seat behind Renjun, Jaemin taking the one beside her which was behind Haechan. Jiwoo and Jeno sat behind them, while Yangyang sat in front of Renjun.

"Do you know who our homeroom teacher is?" Yangyang asked, turning around to face them. Rena shook her head.

"No idea."

Yangyang nodded, turning back to face the front. Rena heard giggling from behind her and turned to see Jeno poking Jiwoo's side.

"Stop it, you know I'm ticklish." Jiwoo said, small giggles in between. Her movements caused sparkles to fall every where.

"That's what you get for taking a bit out of my granola bar." Jeno replied, continuing to tickle her. Rena sighed before brushing off the sparkles that accumulated on her uniform. She heard a chuckle and looked up to see Jaemin smiling at her.

"Gets pretty annoying sometimes." Jaemin said, helping her with the ones on her back.

"Yeah." Rena said as the class went quiet. She looked up to see that their homeroom teacher for the year was no other than Jaehwa.

"Good morning everyone. I am Miss. Bo and I will be your homeroom teacher and teacher for Supernatural Physiology for this year. I will try my best to learn all your names by the end of this week. Please open up to page twelve and let's get started."

Rena flipped to the page in her textbook, opening up her notebook. As she took notes for the class, she couldn't help but glance over at Jaemin's notes.

Jaemin's letters were crooked and large, much different from the small careful strokes of his usual writing.
