Chapter 13

"Why are you here?" Rena asked as she opened the door to her room. Jimin peeked inside and saw Jiwoo and Renjun sitting on Rena's bed.

"I was going to go to the lounge with Jisung but Nari wanted to tag along." Jimin said as she sat down on the floor beside Rena's bed.

"So you came to bother us?" Renjun asked. Jimin shot him a look.

"I came to bother Rena." Jimin said, turning to the demon. "What's the situation with my brother?"

Rena tensed at the sudden question. "Idiot." Jimin heard Renjun mumble. Rena glanced at Jiwoo.

"Jimin, Rena and Jaemin broke up at the end of last year because of his solo mission." Jiwoo said, breaking the news to her.

"What?!" Jimin exclaimed. "But you two were unseperable!"

"Yeah, that's what I thought too." Rena muttered. Renjun hopped off the bed.

"Well, lucky for you, we were just coming up with a plan." Renjun said earning a look from Rena. "What?"

"She's not an initiated agent yet." Rena reminded them.

Renjun gulped sitting back down. "Right."

"What, there's no rule saying that you can't tell me because I'm not initiated." Jimin whined.

"Actually, there is." Jiwoo said, making Jimin pout.

"But I'm his sister." Jimin brought up.

Jiwoo turned to Rena. "She has a point." Rena let out a deep sigh.

"Okay fine." Rena said as Jimin smiled, throwing her hands up.

"Oh yeah, what's in between you and Jeno?" Jimin asked the faerie sitting on the bed. Jiwoo was taken aback by the sudden question.

"Me and Jeno? Nothing." Jiwoo answered. Jimin narrowed her eyes.

"Sure, I know you two kissed and confessed to each other last year." Jimin said to her.

"If you want to be here, you need to stay on topic." Renjun said. Jimin noticed Jiwoo silently thank her friend and decided that she would just have to ask afterwards.

"Anyways, so first we need to approach Doyoung, he'll be the easiest leader to crack." Rena said, starting to explain their plan to them.

"Remember, this mission is surveillance only, nothing else." Taeyong instructed the two boys in front of him.

"Got it." Mark responded before glancing at Haechan. The two of them were given a special mission, unknown to any of their friends to go check out the warehouse Jaemin was supposed to go to for his solo mission.

Kun was with them, standing in the command room. He had finally perfected a telportation spell, but it used a large amount of energy. He passed Mark a chain with a blue crystal attached.

"If anything goes wrong, hold onto the crystal when you recite the teleportation spell. It will give you enough magical energy to complete it without depleting your energy. Haechan, make sure you grab onto Mark tightly or you'll be stuck there." Kun explained.

"Not nerve-wrecking at all." Haechan mumbled as he nodded.

"We have eyes so we'll send Winwin or Jungwoo if anything happens, but it would be good to test out Kun's spell." Doyoung told them as what the two of them saw appeared on the screens in front of him from their contact lenses.

"Alright, let's do this." Mark said, giving Haechan a small smile. They held hands as Kun chanted the spell and soon the two of them were standing in front of a warehouse.
