Another day of misery.

Jisung closed the door of his locker after another long day of classes. Although saving the world from dangerous supernaturals wasn't exactly the best thing, he definitely enjoyed it much more than spending all day sitting in class.

To make it better, he could see Nari approaching him and Chenle from the corner of his eye. Jisung immediately threw down his bag.

"Chenle, can you watch this, I need to go to the washroom." Jisung said. Before Chenle could even look up from his phone game, Jisung had already walked away, barging into the male washroom.

What Jisung didn't expect was to see Lucas inside. "Oh, hi Jisung."

"Hi... hyung." Jisung replied before heading to the sink to wash his hands, occupying himself since he didn't actually need to use the washroom.

"So I was thinking." Lucas said, starting a conversation that Jisung honestly didn't want to happen. But Lucas was his mentor so Jisung slapped a smile on his face.

"What were you thinking about?"

Lucas gave him a small smile. "No more early boxing sessions."

"Really?" Jisung exclaimed before covering his mouth. "Sorry I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's okay. To be honest, I could use some sleeping in too." Lucas admitted. "I was also thinking, for tomorrow's training, why don't we do something simpler. Fencing?"

"Just fencing?" Jisung asked, raising an eyebrow. Lucas nodded.

"Just some good old fencing, no focusing on your energy or anything." Lucas told him.

"Um, alright." Jisung said as he dried his hands.

"Great, I'll see you tomorrow then." Lucas said before leaving the washroom.

That was weird.

Jisung shook away the thoughts of his conversation with Lucas as he took his phone out, checking the time.

I guess I should get out of this bathroom now.

Jisung silently prayed that Nari had left the halls as he exited the male bathroom.

...

Chenle looked up from his phone game to see Jisung already slipping into the male washroom, his backpack at Chenle's feet.

"Aish." Chenle mumbled as he kicked the bag to the side of the hallway so no one would trip over it, wondering what could have made his best friend act that way. He realized what it was when a girl stopped in front of him.

"Where did Jisung go?" Nari asked him. Chenle sighed as he decided not to start a new game and returned his phone to his pocket.

"Washroom, why?" Chenle asked her. Nari held up the notebook in her hand.

"He left this in class, can you give it to him then?" Nari asked.

"Sure." Chenle said, taking the notebook. He expected Nari to leave but the girl stayed there. "Do you need anything else."

"Oh. Um. I guess not." Nari said, turning away. Before she could walk away, Chenle decided to call her back.

"Wait, Nari." Nari stopped in her tracks, turning back.

"Yeah?"

"Do you like Jisung?" Nari was frozen, her cheeks immediately turning red, giving Chenle the answer he was looking for. Chenle sighed.

Jisung should be doing this but you know what? As his best friend, I'll take the hit for him.

"Nari, can I tell you something, as Jisung's best friend and a fellow sprite?" Chenle asked. Nari slowly nodded her head.
