Chapter 21

We're screwed, Doyoung thought as he paced around his room.

With her on their side, there's no way the agents can beat them.

Rena picked up the picture frame that was placed down on her desk. Inside was a picture of her and Jaemin, taken on one of their dates in the Vampire Kingdom. Jimin had taken it for them.

Rena's arms were wrapped around Jaemin's neck, their foreheads resting against one another as the sunset.

As Rena closed her eyes, she could still feel Jaemin's hands holding tightly to her waist as he smiled, saying loving words to her.

Her door was flung open along with her eyes as she turned to see Renjun standing in her doorway.

"Thanks for knocking." Rena said as she put the picture frame down.

"Hurry up, we don't want to be late." Renjun said ignoring her words.

Rena grabbed her leather jacket before turning to the picture on last time before leaving her room.

Jaemin, I'm coming for you.

"Is everyone ready?" Taeyong asked, looking at his agents. They all nodded their heads, staring back at him.

"Alright, let's head out then." Taeyong announced. The faeries immediately opened up gates, allowing the agents to go through.

It was a complete bloodbath. Even though the guards of the warehouse outnumbered the agents, the agents were much more powerful. Soon, the agents were inside, looking for where Jaemin and Doyoung could possibly be held but it was a large building with many rooms and trap doors, making it a difficult feat for them.

Rena, Jeno, and Jiwoo were following Jaehyun and Johnny while Mark, Taeyong, Yuta, and Jungwoo had been left behind to fend off some other creatures. They were running through a long hallway, opening each and every door.

"I hate this." Jiwoo said as Johnny and Jeno sniffed around in their wolf forms. The two wolves turned back into their human's form.

"Jaemin's scent is extremely faint, it must have been months since he last walked these halls. Doyoung's is greater but still weak." Johnny told them.

"Great, tell WayV that." Jaehyun said as he continued running. He stopped at a door. "Can one of you sniff this?"

Jeno was about to press his nose to the door when it flung open, hitting him square in the face. Kun, Xiaojun, and Hendery walked out, or what looked like them at least.

"You're going to wrong way, go back." Kun said but Rena already saw the flash of blue in his eyes and details missing from the figure staring back at her. She didn't even hesitate to shove her iridium knife in his chest.

Once Jaehyun had realized what Rena was doing, he lit two rings of fire around the two, trapping them before slicing off both their heads with his sword.

Jiwoo gulped at the sight, squeezing Jeno's hand as he held onto his nose, still in pain.

"You know, a stab to the chest could have worked too." Johnny said but his best friend ignored him.

"Good job." Jaehyun said to Rena but she had no reaction, making her way down the new hall through the door.

"You're not forgiven, Jaehyun." Rena replied as she continued moving, without a moment of hesitation.

"Hyung!" Renjun exclaimed as he flung the door open. Doyoung immediately sat up in his bed.
