Jisung rubbed his eyes as he exited the locker rooms, entering the training area.

It's definitely too early for this. Jisung thought as he made his way to the punching bags. That's when he realized that it wasn't only Lucas, but Xiaojun and Yangyang waiting for him there too. The youngest one gave Jisung a big smile and wave as he approached them.

"Good morning Jisung. Xiaojun and Yangyang are going to join us for training today. Hope you're ready to build those arm muscles today!" Lucas said, a bit too eagerly for Jisung's liking.

"Yay." Jisung said, trying to sound enthusiastic as he wrapped his fists.

...

"Are you feeling alright?" Renjun asked Rena as they made their way to the agency's dinning hall. The two along with Haechan wanted to have breakfast together before training so they decided to eat there for the morning.

"Yeah, just a little nervous about our plan." Rena told him.

"Don't worry too much, we'll be there to support you." Haechan reassured her as they entered the building.

"Do you know when you're going to do it?" Renjun asked her as they entered the elevators. Rena shrugged her shoulders.

"When I have time, I guess." Rena answered.

The three were soon settled at a table, chatting about school when Mark walked by with a tray.

"Hey Mark, come sit with us." Rena called out. Haechan tried to hide his discontent as Mark joined their table. He could tell that Mark was eyeing at him but considering that Rena had called him over and Renjun had no objections, the two others probably weren't feeling the same way he was.

"I can't believe you're a mentor now. Time passes by so quickly." Renjun said to Mark as he took a bite of his breakfast.

"Yeah, to be honest I was surprised too when they told me that I was going to be a mentor. Since we have so many leaders, I thought they would automatically be the mentors." Mark told them.

"I think it's a great opportunity for you. You finally get to show everything that you've been able to learn. I mean, there's a reason why you've been a board memeber every year." Rena said, praising Mark. Haechan let out a scoff, earning looks from his friends.

"Is something wrong?" Renjun asked him. Haechan coughed, pretending to clear his throat.

"I just choked that's all." Haechan said before putting his fork down. "I'm going to go warm up first, I'll meet you two on the mats."

Haechan felt his friends staring at him as he picked up his tray and left the dinning hall, but quite frankly, he just wanted to get as far away from Mark as possible.

...

"What was that about?" Rena asked Mark once Haechan left the room. Mark let out a sigh before running his fingers through his hair.

"Let's just say Haechan and I aren't on good terms." Mark told them. Renjun raised an eyebrow.

"Why not?" Renjun asked.

"Haechan's just mad that I didn't tell anyone about the sirens coming out to my house sooner. He said he wasted his time searching the whole libary last semester that it could have been a lot easier if I had just spoken up." Mark said to them. The two juniors were silent for a moment as they processed Mark's words. Their silence made Mark uncomfortable as he sat there fiddling with the food on his plate.

"That doesn't really make a lot of sense." Rena finally said, breaking the tension.

"Yeah, I agree." Renjun said as well.
