Hey everyone, so this imagine will contain mature content. It does happen at the hot tub scene, so please just peacefully skip that part of you aren't comfortable with that type of content. Also, I'm in no way trying to romanticize JJ's situation with his dad or abuse, in general, at all. I hope y'all enjoy!

Sadie walked out the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. She felt refreshed and clean, but she was still stressed out about JJ. She felt the tears brimming her eyes, and she rapidly blinked them away. She quickly got dressed and walked down stairs. She was going back to meet Kie and Pope back at The Wreck, so they can go over the plan and get equipment.

As she was about to walk past Ward's office, she heard him talking to someone, as the door was cracked. His tone was serious, almost like he was angry. She came to a stop, quietly listening to the conversation. She knew she probably shouldn't be, but she couldn't help it, she was nosey.

"Listen, Buck. Just tell her to keep quiet okay? I can't afford for her to found out about what happened, everything has been going smoothly. So please just keep quiet and make sure she doesn't find out. Sadie-" Ward said into the phone.

Sadie scrunched her brows, why did he say her name? Who's Buck? And who was he talking about? Was it her? Was it her mom?

So many thoughts were going through her head, but before she had time to fully process, she heard a voice from behind her. "Sadie, what are you doing?"

Sadie quickly spun around, seeing Wheezie. She grabbed her arm, yanking her into the room right next to them, and quietly shutting the door. She put her finger up to her lips, telling Wheezie to be quiet. Wheezie had a look of confusion, as Sadie quietly cracked the door open. She saw Ward going back into his office, shutting the door all the way.

Once she knew the coast was clear, she turned back to Wheezie, "I..." she didn't even know what to tell Wheezie. She couldn't lie because she knew Wheezie would see right through it, she was a terrible liar sometimes. "I thought I heard Ward say my name, so I... was listening to his conversation."

Wheezie's look of confusion, turned into one of amusement. "You're weird." She laughed. Sadie nervously laughed with her, "Yeah, I know."

"So, what was he saying?" Wheezie asked.

"O-oh, nothing important. Just... DCS... about my mom?" Sadie asked more than said. She didn't really know if that was a lie, seeing as she didn't know who Ward was actually talking to, or if it was even about her mom in the first place.

Wheezie stared at her older friend for a minute, while Sadie held an awkward smile. "Okay, that's weird... you're not leaving are you?" Wheezie soon became worried.

Sadie let out a breath of relief, glad that Wheezie believed the... possible lie? "I don't think so. Look, Wheezie, as much as I would love to talk, I have to
go." Sadie walked up to Wheezie, hugging her. "And, please don't tell anyone about this. Please?"

They pulled apart, Wheezie holding out her pinky finger, "I promise." Sadie held her pinky finger out too, intertwining them.

"All right, bye." Sadie said, rushing out of the house. She hopped on her bike, and pedaled off to The Wreck.

She approached the restaurant seeing the silhouette of Pope and Kie through the window. She got off her bike, leaning it against the wall, and walking into the building. "Hey guys." Sadie sighed, plopping down next to Pope.
