Once they got back, they sat at a dock, watching a body get rolled on a gurney.

"Who's that?" JJ asked.
"Scooter Grubbs, he was out during the storm." Some random girl explained, showing them a picture of his dead body.

"Insane."
"Holy shit."
"Gross."
The Pogues all responded.

"What kind of boat did he have?" John B asked her.
"Somehow that dirt bag copped a Grady-White." She said, her face scrunched up.
"Everyone's our looking for it." She finished.

JJ and Sadie looked at each other.

"Holy shit." She mumbled.

Once they got back to the château, they sat quietly, the information still not fully processed in their minds. John B stood against the wall, Kie sat on the couch, JJ sat on the arm of the chair while Sadie actually sat in the chair.
Pope came running on to the porch.

"Ok, we know nothing. We need to have total and complete amnesia." He said, out of breath.
"I agree with Pope." JJ said, standing up.
"Yeah me too." Sadie agreed, nodding her head.

"Deny, deny, deny." JJ continued.

Sadie rolled her eyes for what felt like the fiftieth time that day.

"Guys, we cant keep that money." Kie said.
"We all can't afford unlimited data plans, like you and Sadie, Kiara." JJ responded.

Sadie scoffed, why did he bring her into this?

"We have to pass it off to Lana Grubbs, otherwise, that's bad karma." Kie continued.
"Bad karma to be implicated in a felony, too. We gotta go dark." Pope added.
"If that means keeping the money, I agree." JJ said.
"I don't agree." John B piped up, patting JJ's shoulder.

The Pogues all looked at him, confused.

"Just think about it. This is Scooter Grubbs we're talking about. Same dude that's buying individual cigarettes at the pothole. Shit, one time I saw this dude begging for change in the Save-A-Lot parking lot because he needed gas. We're talking about a dirty marina rat, who never had more than 40 bucks in his wallet, and all of a sudden, he's got a Grady-White? Just sayin'." John B explained to the group.

"That is true, I always heard him asking Ward for money. And there's no way he would've gave Scooter that much money to buy a Grady-White." Sadie agreed, standing up.

After talking about it some more, they went to the dock to fish.

"Just think about it Pope. How does a dirty marina rat, cop a Grady-White?" John B asked, still on the topic.

Pope inhaled sharply, "Prostitution." He answered, just wanting to be done with the conversation.

"Square groupers, bro." John B responded, as if stating the obvious.

"They were straight smugglin'." JJ added.
"Smugglin'." John B agreed.

"Okay, question." Sadie started, getting everyone's attention.
"If there are square groupers involved, why do we wanna get involved?"
