Chapter 1

15th June, 2019.

Sunlight peeked through the curtains, falling on his face, making his eyes blink. He slowly opened them, looking at the sunrays for disturbing his precious sleep. But soon a small smile appeared on his face, as he had waited for this morning from so long.

He slid his feet in the fluffy slippers and made his way to the washroom for morning routine. He while brushing his teeth looked at the mirror, giggling as his mind kept imagining various scenarios that can take place on his first day.

He chose a nice warm hoodie and jeans for his first day at University. 
After studying hard in high school, he was able to claim a scholarship in a big city like Seoul. It was his dream to complete his education here. 

Moving away from parents was difficult, but they were so supporting that he knew he had to make them proud. So by his father's help he bought a small one room apartment near his Uni. It was a nice cozy place for one person. 

With a last call to his parents, he left his apartment, heading to his dream place.
He was also excited to meet his old friend Jung Hoseok, who moved here last year. 
He was glad that he had a friend in this new city.

The uni was way bigger than his high school back in hometown. Students here are more relaxed, chatting, playing, happy vibes around. He nervously but with a bounce in his step got the schedule and his locker code.

The lockers were in the hallways near the Vice principal's cabin.

He found his one and entered the passcode, but the locker was not opening, he tried again but failed. 

Suddenly a hand came from behind and opened the locker for him. He nervously turned around and looked up to a tall handsome guy with broad shoulders.

"You first have to push it a lil bit before pulling." the guy smiled at him.

Taehyung blushing embarrassed bowed to the other, 
"Thank you."

"No worry. You seem new here, so it happens. I'm Oh Sehun by the way." the guy offered his hand for a shake.

Taehyung politely took his hand, 
"Yeah. I'm Kim Taehyung. I joined today." Tae smiled. He is a social person. So he is not awkward with new people. 

"Hope you like it here. See you then." the guy smiled and went ahead, probably to his classes.

Taehyung smiled at him, he was polite and friendly.

The classrooms here were spacious, he was glad he came little early so he can take a seat whenever he wants. 
He found a seat on the third row and made his way there. 

The guy to his side smiled at him.
"You seem new, I'm Park Jinyoung." the guy smiled.

"Hello, Kim Taehyung." Tae smiled in return.

Soon all students took their seats as the Professor arrived.

"Good morning folks. I hoped you enjoyed the weekend. Those who don't know I'm Mr. Min Jimin, your Chem teacher. Let's start with energy okay??" He smiled. He seemed nice.

The professor then started taking attendance, and called out names.

"Kim Taehyung?" the Prof called, and looked around.

"Present." Taehyung raised his hand.

The teacher turned his eyes towards the voice, but soon his smile faded from his face. A shocked expression now present on his pleasant features.

Taehyung awkwardly looked around, like all the students, not understanding their Prof's sudden mood change.

Mr. Min kept looking at the other for a few moments, then finally came back to his senses.

He cleared his throat, and motioned with further rolls.

Whole lecture went smoothly, he chatted with Jinyoung, already looking forward to a friendship. It was good, but the Prof from time to time looked at Taehyung and smiled, which made the said boy confused.

Lunch was the time, when he and Hoseok had decided to meet. Taehyung made his way to the canteen, and quickly spotted his friend, who was waiting near a table, waving his hand wildly.

Taehyung giggled and ran to the other, who pulled him a warm hug.

"I missed you buddy." Hoseok commented.

"Me too Hobi." Tae smiled and took a seat in front of the other.

"So how far was your experience?" Hoseok asked, face showing more excitement.

"It was good, students seemed nice, and the teachers were also friendly."

"See I told you, you will definitely like it here. 
I'm so glad my TaeTae is back." Hobi smiled.

Taehyung giggled, taking out his small lunch he packed for both.

"If you need help with anything, just tell me okay?" Hoseok said while eating.

"Yes, but you have to show me all the cool places around this weekend." Tae said, eyes narrowed.

"Cool!" Hoseok smiled.

He wiped his face, and looked at Tae, 
"Now I'm gonna introduce you to the people you should know ok?" Hoseok smirked.

"You see the two girls over there, 
That's Lisa and Rose, the coolest lesbians of the college. If you have to join any club, contact them." 

Tae nodded, eyes concentrated, ears taking all the info.

"Now look at the couple near the door, 
That's Baek and Chanyeol, the uni's power couple. They hold the wildest parties here."

Tae giggled, showing the other a thumbs up.

"Now from your left, they are the sports boys. The hottest ones. And you see the tall one, that's Sehun, the captain." 

Taehyung looked there nodding, remembering his morning encounter.

"From your schedule, you have already met the Chemistry teacher, he is the friendliest one. And then there's another Mr. Min, music teacher, keep quiet in his class, and you are okay!"

Taehyung patiently took all this information.

"We have Mr.Choi. English teachers, honestly he seems like a pervert, but he is all bark and no bite. If you ever get in trouble, remember the Principal is quite cool, just be honest with him."

"Aye Aye Captain!" Taehyung saluted.

"Now be aware of Miss. Song, she's a bitch okay. You better keep her Biology notes properly. And lasty Mr. Jeon, he is on holiday, but might return soon."

Hoseok moved close and looked at the other seriously,
"He is the toughest guy here. You must be on time to his class, and be good. He is the most rude and cold here. No student had seen him smile. So just be cautious okay or he may fail you for the slightest mistake."

"Okayyy." Tae said, already feeling nervous.

Hoseok moved back in his seat, 
"Rest all is fine, And I'm there for you. We even have Music and English together."

Taehyung smiled, glad he had Hobi by his side. He just hopes everything will be alright.

All the classes went quite smoothly, he just had to remember so many things. By the end of the day, he surely was tired.

He liked it overall, not bad as he expected. 
But something made him confused, like Mr. Min's reaction to him. And again other Mr. Min's in Music had a similar reaction to him, shocked.

He just hoped it was just because they found him cute. 
With that thought he closed his eyes, pulling his blanket over his body, hoping for a better day ahead.
