Unfortunately for Zayn, the next day he woke up with a terrible fever and with horrible nausea. Liam called in sick for him and Corbin, who was still not feeling up to going out. Corbin had told the boys that he'd 'look after' Zayn for the day, thus avoiding any of the other boys having to miss a day of work.
Zayn slept for a few hours before he came down and curled up on the couch next to Corbin. Corbin glanced over at him and took a sip of his lemon and ginger tea and raised his eyebrows.
"Okay?" He murmured.
Zayn groaned. "I'm not throwing up, so I guess."
Corbin slowly got up and left the room, heading for the kitchen. Zayn didn't acknowledge that he'd left and closed his eyes and snuggled deeper into the couch.
A few minutes later, he felt a gentle touch on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw Corbin holding out a mug full of steaming liquid. Seeing the confused look on Zayn's face, he explained, "Lemon and ginger tea, it helps with nausea." '
Scooting upright, Zayn accepted the mug and and took a small sip. "Thanks."
Corbin nodded and sat back down, curling his fingers around his own mug. He got Netflix up on the TV and looked at Zayn. "Have you seen Teen Wolf?"
Zayn made a negative noise in the back of his throat and took another sip. Something close to a smirk appeared on Corbin's face and he started the first episode.
"Get comfy Zayn," He said, "we're binging."
Zayn half-smiled and got comfortable, his eyes averting to the screen that was now playing the Teen Wolf introduction.
The tea quelled his nausea and he started to feel after his third mug. At noon, Corbin paused the show and went into the kitchen. He came back in with yet another cup of ginger and lemon tea and a bowl of instant noodles. He handed them to Zayn and shrugged, "I don't feel like making a big lunch."
Zayn smiled gently up at Corbin and said, "That's perfectly alright, thanks."
Corbin gave him a half-smile disappeared yet again into the kitchen. Zayn felt happy and really proud. That was the first time in the five days that he'd been living with them that Corbin had smiled at someone that wasn't Mitch. Corbin settled back onto the couch with his own bowl and re-filled mug and pressed play to the TV.

Harry took a deep breath as he left his car and ran a hand through his hair. He grabbed his bag and headed to the house. Opening the door, he heard noises coming from the lounge and he headed there. Stepping into the room, he saw Corbin curled up on one couch, his head resting on the armrest, he looked half asleep. Zayn was on the other couch, his head resting on his hand, and his elbow sitting on the armrest. They were both watching the screen, where five teenagers where trapped in a school and were arguing about calling the police.
He cleared his throat and forced back a chuckle as they whipped their heads towards him. He gave them a smile. "Hey, how you guys feeling?"
He moved to the loveseat and sat down, taking off his shoes and looking at Zayn pointedly.
Zayn smiled, "I'm feeling much better," He replied. "I guess lemon and ginger tea does that to you."
Harry nodded his agreement and looked over to Corbin, who was still looking at the TV. "How about you Corbin?"
Corbin glanced over and shrugged. "A bit."
Harry nodded, wishing he'd get more of an answer, but accepting it. "Okay, good." He leant back and got comfortable. "What are you guys watching?"
"Teen Wolf," Zayn answered, "It's not as bad as it sounds."
Corbin frowned at that and piped up. "Hey, I detest that." He threw a cushion at Zayn, which hit him right on the head. "This is a great show."
Harry chuckled, "Well, I can't say I've ever watched it."
Corbin rolled his eyes and snuggled deeper onto the couch, his eyes closing and his breath evening out, a clear sign that he was now asleep.
"Was he okay?" Harry gestured to the sleeping teenager.
Zayn nodded, "Yeah actually, really good, he made me tea and lunch."
"He seems to be more comfortable with you." Harry noted, glancing to the screen and seeing a terrifying thing on the screen. "What is that?"
Zayn smirked and said, "Oh, that's just the Alpha, quite scary, aye?"
Harry nodded and grabbed the remote from where it was lying on the coffee table. "Yeah, too scary for my liking."
Zayn scoffed. "Says the man who watched Annabelle and got a replica doll."
Harry gave him an indifferent look and sniffed, "Go ahead judge me, but remember, I haven't told the boys about your obsession with Wallace and Gromet."
Zayn glared and looked away. "Horrible man." He muttered.

An hour or so later, the other arrived home and Harry made a chicken broth for dinner. Everyone could tell that Corbin was much more open and comfortable with Zayn, and it came as a relief. It seemed that Corbin was beginning to settle in with them. That made it hard for the boys since they weren't sure if they were going to be taken to a different place at the end of two weeks, and they were all - no doubts - getting attached to Corbin and Mitch.
Haha, this was mostly a filler chapter.
Anyway, thanks for reading, there's gonna be some drama in the next chapter;)
