I Almost Do Chapter 9
Baby

We continue our weekly dose of alcohol at RLX.
I lose count on how many shots I take already.
"This bar is the first investment of LG's dad. Noong una, kami-kami lang talagang magpipinsan dito. Pero effective 'yung acoustic band tsaka 'yung DJ."
"I like the interior." I commented. "Pero mas gusto ko 'yung sa Buenos. Lalo 'yung ceiling."
"LG has a plan about that, too. Gusto n'ya palakihan 'yung place since nabili na nila 'yung katabi nito.
I nodded as a sign of agreement. I straightly drink a shot of Cuervo and look on the large crowd in the middle. I always fantasized myself dancing again.
There's this small voice inside my head that confuses me every time I see him, especially when I felt his touches. He's my only ex-boyfriend and I know that he always has a place in my heart. Don't get me wrong, I forget about him long enough to forget why I needed to. I'm just afraid of the things that might happen if I let him in my life again. S'ya 'yung may ayaw na, tapos ayan na naman s'ya? So why?
"I'll watch you."
I stopped spacing out when Miguel said that.
"You want to dance?" he asked.
I shook my head in panic. Ganun ko kaayaw sumayaw!
"I'll watch you from here. Come on, it's been weeks nung nakausap mo 'yung ex mo. Ako ang bahala."
"Ayoko. Wag na."
"I always see your eyes sparkle every time you look on the dance floor, Kach. Feeling ko kahit di na tayo mag-inom basta makasayaw ka, ayos ka na." he was smiling again while saying that.
He got a shot of his favorite whiskey brand on his left hand. Miguel looked extra fresh today. He just got a new haircut. He's wearing a grey pullover hoodie jacket, and black jeans ripped on the knees.
"Baka nandun na naman 'yun."
"Wala s'ya ngayon. Hindi ko nakita." sabi n'ya.
"How sure are you?"
"I just know." he pouted while shrugging.
I said with annoyance.
"So what do you want?"
"Wala. Dito na lang tayo... patanaw-tanaw sa malayo..."
"Fuck shit, para naman tayong mga tanga. It's not like dancing is something illegal.
"You think those people on the second floor are not watching every single person on the dance floor? Anong pinagkaiba?"
