One time thing

Dalton's pov

I thought things would get awkward between me and Ariana now that she'd gotten a night to sleep on yesterday's events and I was absolutely right.

As soon as she woke up she kinda freaked out on how I was laying beside her on the same bed, shirtless but thankfully didn't react any other way than that.

Without saying a lot we quickly freshened up and got dressed, ready to live yet another day stuck with each other. I tried to make small talk with her occasionally and she didn't ignore me but gave kinda awkward replies.

We were currently sitting in the dining room having breakfast when she spoke up.

" The news says the corona situation is getting better. "

" Oh wow that's great. ", I said swallowing the muesli I was having.

" Yeah but we're obviously still not allowed to travel long distance and stuffs like that though. But I guess it's safe to have some fresh air. "

" So are you suggesting we go out somewhere? ", I asked making her shake her head.

" Not today but maybe some other time... I feel so suffocating in this house. ", she said fanning her face.

" Deal then. "

She gave me that beautiful smile of hers for the first time that day making my heart melt.

" So do you have work to do today?", I asked taking both of our bowls and placing it in the sink.

" When did you even see me work at home? I mean obviously I can but I have no recording system in here so I can't. Ughh I want this stupid virus to end already. ", she whined banging the counter childishly.

" Then why don't you get a home music recording system. ", I shrugged simply.

While I was washing the bowls I heard her gasp loudly and squeal in excitement as I chuckled.

" Why you so excited all of a sudden? "

" Oh my god Dalton.. Why didn't I think of that? I can easily get one for my bedroom. You have no clue how I've always wanted one in my room. ", she smiled wide jumping around me like a little kid.

" Music makes you happy right? ", I asked smiling down at her.

" It does. ", she said shyly.

" Aww but now I'll have to deal with a hard working little girl who will work her ass off day and night and I will get bored alone.", I pouted walking towards her.

" Oh shut up.. It's not that the other days here I had spend time with you anyways. You didn't get bored then?"

" I did but at that time you was mad at me and now you're not. I hope?...", I said the last sentence in a questioning manner not being sure of where we stand right now.

" I was not mad at you.. It was just that.. Ugh never mind. "

She was walking away from me but I caught her arm and pulled her towards me, almost bumping into my chest.

" You didn't answer my question. ", I stated while putting a strand of hair behind her ears while staring down at her just mesmerised by her beauty.

" Uhh which one? ", she asked a little zoned out as she stared back at me, looking me straight into my eyes.

" Where do we stand now? ", I asked my eyes occasionally stealing glances at her soft lips.

We were so close that I didn't even need to speak up to let her hear me properly.
