After getting off the bullhead I continue listening to my music but with one bud out.

Me: "Ok girls I'm going to explore I'll see you later."

I go exploring and I see Blake walking around so I walk up to her.

Me: "Hi there."

Blake: "Oh, hello."

Me: "So what's your name kitty cat?"

Blake just looks at me shocked and says.

Blake: "How did you know?"

Me: "Bows don't twitch and we're inside with no windows open so it's kinda obvious. Plus I don't really care I find it kinda cool."

Blake: "You don't care."

Me: "Course I don't people are people we're all different just some people are to stupid to realise that. Any ways my name's Y/N what's yours?"

Blake: "Blake..."

Me: "Well it was nice meeting you I've gotta meet up with someone. I'll see you at the auditorium?"

I go back to Ruby and see a very motion sick Jaunne so I walk up to him.

Me: "Hey you ok mate?"

Jaune: "Yeah just motion sickness."

Me: "Yeah well you get that here have this."

I hand him a motion sickness pill.

Me: "My friend had the same issue before I moved out."

Jaune: "Thanks man but why did you help me?"

Me: "Is it wrong to help a friend?"

Jaune: "No not really."

Me: "Good."

I see Ruby about to explode.

Me: "I'll be right back."

Weiss: "Ugh, you complete dolt! What are you even doing here? Aren't you a little young to be attending Beacon?"

Ruby: "Well, I-I..."

Me: "Us two got in early because we are better than you ice queen."

Weiss gets irritated by me saying this.

Ruby runs and hides behind me.

Weiss: "This isn't your ordinary combat school. It's not just sparring and practice, you know! We're here to fight monsters, so... watch where you're going!"

Ruby: "Hey, I said I was sorry, princess!"

Blake: "It's heiress, actually." Ruby and Weiss look over as Blake approaches with the bottle "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."

Weiss: "Finally! Some recognition!"

Me: "The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners and horrible CEO Jacques ass Schnee who married into the family for the name and power."

Me and Blake high five.

Weiss: "Wha- How dare- The nerve of... Ugh!"

Ruby: "I promise I'll make this up to you! I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day... So, what's... welcome to Beacon..."

Me: "There are better places to take a nap then on the ground you know."

Me: "Oh I almost forgot... Ruby meet Jaune, Jaune meet Ruby."

Ruby: "Hey, that explosion was an accident!"

Ruby: giggles before a short, awkward silence falls "So... I got this thing!" she pulls out Crescent Rose and stabs it into the ground

Jaune: "Whoa! Is that a scythe?"

Ruby: "It's also a customizable high-impact sniper rifle!"

Jaune: "A-wha...?"

Me: "It's also a gun."

Jaune: "Oh. That's cool!"

Ruby: "So what've you got?"

Me: "I have this High Frequency Blade, in simple terms a sword made to cut through anything and the sheath is a rifle how about you Jaune?"

Jaune: "Oh! I, uh..." unsheathes a blade "I got this sword!"

Ruby: "Ooooohh!"

Jaune: "Yeah, and I've got a shield, too!" he gets his scabbard, raises his arm and expands the metal into his defense.

Ruby: touching the shield "So, what do they do?"

Jaune: "The shield gets smaller, so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just... put it away..."

Ruby: "But... wouldn't it weigh the same?"

Jaune: dejectedly "Yeah, it does..."

Ruby: giggling "Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, sooo... I guess I did go a little overboard when designing it."

Jaune: "Wait - you made that?!"

Ruby: "Of course! All students at Signal forge their own weapons! Didn't you make yours?"

Jaune: "It's a hand-me-down. My great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war."

Ruby: "Sounds more like a family heirloom to me!" (laughs) "Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days."

Jaune: sheathing his sword "Yeah, the classics..."

Ruby: "Hmm." looks around "Hey, where are we going?"

Jaune: "Oh, I don't know! I was following you. Y-You think there might be a directory? Maybe a food court? Some kind of recognizable landmark? Is, uh... Is that a 'no'?"

Me: "Follow me."
