1: The terrible horrible no-good very bad day

It's, gonna be a bad day, I can tell that right when I wake up. I hear noises coming out of the kitchen and slide out of bed.

"Will." I call out

"Hey, I'm running a little late, so I don't have much time, but I promise when we get home, I'll let you be free." Will states and plants a small kiss to my forehead

I sigh and walk back to my room, not bothering to eat. I get dressed in my usual black hoodie and jeans. Making the rough decision I do every day, I go through the box no one knows about and pull out my blue pacifier and stick it in my pocket.

At the district

"Where the hell is Halstead?" I ask no one in particular

Of course in that moment, Jay walks in and I want to yell at him.

"HALSTEAD, WHY ARE YOU LATE?" I scream at my youngest intelligece member

"I-I'm so s-s-o-sorry, my a-alram didn't g-go off." Jay stutters

I take a closer look at the kid and notice the tears welling up in his eyes. Thats what throws me because Jay Halstead dosen't cry under any circumstances.

"Well sit your ass down, we have a case." I say slightly gentler 

I watch as Jay takes a seat at his desk and rest his head on his desk. I look Antonio and he starts talking. 

"There's been a series of car bombings recently, all the victems have been 23 year old females." Antonio explains
