I'm really bad at updating regularly >-<. Ill try to do better! here's the next part!(also I might be changing this book to just hermit angst and :( )Tw: Vomiting)
Xisuma felt like he was puking up his guts. He had been sitting in front of a bucket for an hour now, puking every ten minutes. He didn't think there was anything left to puke up, but it just kept coming. He leaned against the fence separating him from the honey farms. X sat there, shakily catching his breath. He knew that if he could get a healing potion, the puking would stop. The hard part was getting one without being noticed.
He didn't want the other hermits seeing that he was sick. Admins aren't supposed to get sick. They have to always be there for their server members. After a few minutes of making sure he wasn't going to puke again for a while, he stood up slowly and got in his nether portal. The nausea that came from traveling between dimensions did not help.
The shopping district was rather empty as X stepped out of the portal, so he hurried his was over to Stress' potion shop. He had to walk there from the fear of vomiting while flying. He arrived at the towering willow tree, drenched in sweat and his knees shaking. Quickly searching the boxes, he tried to find the healing potions.
Suddenly, he felt the vomit coming up. Xisuma started running to the grass. He didn't make it. He puked on the path in front of him. When he looked up, he realized he had puked right in front of Doc. He tried to quickly apologize, but instead vomited again. This time, he made it to the grass. Doc silently sat beside X and rubbed his back.
When the puking was done, Doc bought a heating potion. He handed it to Xisuma, who quickly opened it. The sickly sweet scent made him gag. Doc helped him take a few sips, and then took it away.
"You're staying at my base tonight." Doc said. Xisuma tried to protest, but he realized how tired he was. Doc scooped up the queasy admin and brought him to the shore, where a boat was waiting. Xisuma's head was resting in Doc's chest as they rowed to Goat Bay. His soft breathing distracted X from the constant feeling of nausea.
At the half house, Doc carried X up the stairs to the pink bedroom. He gently placed the admin in the plush bed. He fetched a bucket and some blankets from a chest. He handed the bucket to Xisuma and then started laying out the blankets on the floor.
"What are you doing?" X asked quietly.
"Setting up my bed." Doc replied.
"Wha- no! I'm not going to make you sleep on the floor in your own house! I'll sleep on the floo-" Xisuma's rant was interrupted by him dry heaving into the bucket, followed by more vomiting.
"And that's why I'm sleeping on the floor." Doc said with a chuckle. Xisuma jokingly gave a pouty face as Doc tried to give him more healing potion, but Doc eventually convinced him to take another sip.
The sped up healing of your body usually makes you drowsy, and this hit X full force. Doc sat on the edge of the bed, softly rubbing Xisuma's hair. He passed out within 3 minutes of this, falling into a peaceful sleep. Doc slept on the floor, waking up every few hours to check in the sick admin. He was doing good, besides tossing and turning a bit. His fever was going down and colour was coming back to his skin.
In the morning, Xisuma woke up quite early. The sun hadn't risen yet, but Doc was already up too. He was making some oatmeal for Xisuma to try and eat.
"X, you're going to eat this and stay here for 2 hours after. I need to know if you can keep food down." Doc said when he saw X out of bed. X nodded then looked to the oatmeal in disgust.
"What if I don't want to eat at all?"
"I'm forcing you to." Xisuma brought a shaky hand to the spoon and ate a few mouthfuls. Once Doc was satisfied, he helped X back to the bed. He sat with him for a while, and they had a very pleasant conversation about bee farms. After 30 minutes of this peace, Xisuma quickly grabbed the bucket beside the bed and threw up all the oatmeal.
"Oh X..." Doc said softly. He pulled him into a soft embrace. Xisuma was shaking and crying. Doc's hug grounded him and distracted him from the awful feeling that was the stomach flu.
