HiHi! sorry that I literally died. school sucks. anyway, here's a fic about le bois! (you'll figure it out soon enough) prepare yourselves, this is a book of :( after all. anyway, ill have another part of Windwaker au up soon, maybe tomorrow (don't quote me on that) Tw: lots of blood

Bdubs had never been fishing before. When tango asked him to go, a wave of anxiety washed over him. It was surprising that the nether born man was an avid fisherman.

"Oh, um o-of course I'll g-go with you!" Bdubs replied nervously. "It's just that.."

"You've never been fishing before." Tango finished with a chuckle. "It's fine, B. I'll teach you!"

The pair set off early Saturday morning, Tango insisting that the fish are out early. "The early hermit catches the fish B!" He told him as they strolled down to a small lake in a far off flower forest. Tango also mentioned that the fish usually tended to avoid the hermit's main builds and areas. The further they walked, the more anxious Bdoubleo got. What if he completely failed? What if he scared off the fish? What if he breaks the rod? The thoughts of doubt swirled around in his head, causing his hands to shake as he put the bait box down on the shoreline. Tango crouched down and opened the bait box, causing Bdubs to cringe. An awful fishy smell wafted from the box. It smelled like dying worms.

"Okay! So, step one is to get bait." Tango picked up a squirming worm from a bucket beside the bait box. He carefully put it on the hook, trying not to stab his fingers. "Step two is to have the perfect cast." Tango effortlessly flung the rod backwards, having the tip keep going backwards ad the rest of the rod travelled forward. The line looped towards the water gracefully, landing right in the perfect spot.

"WOAH!" Bdubs shouted, "That was awesome Tango!"

"Shh! You'll scare the fish!"

"Sorry."

After about 5 minutes of sitting, the nether-born felt a tug on the rod. Standing up quickly, he turned the reel, careful to not go too fast and cause the line to snap. The builder watched in awe as he reeled in a bright red salmon. Tango cut the hook off the line, put down the rod, and carefully threaded the bearded piece of metal out of the fish's mouth. Bdubs hastily pulled a shulker box full of ice out of his pockets as Tango held the fish firmly, making sure not to let it flop away. After wiping his hands on his pants, the redstone wizard turned to Bdubs.

"Now its your turn to try!" Tango thrusted the rod into bubbles' hands, but his hands over top. He held the line steady as he showed Bdubs how to move his hands. Still holding the rod together, the builder casted his line, his cast being a little choppy and close to shore. "Nice job, B! That's pretty good for a first try."

"But you were basically doing all the work." Bdubs mumbled. Tango heard this and put on a jokingly mocking face.

"Aw nah man, I was just there to make sure you didn't throw the rod." He said with a chuckle. Bdubs' tense face relaxed as he giggled with Tango. This was going better than he expected. When he felt the line tug, Tango coached him as he quickly reeled the fish in. Pulling it out of the water, Bdubs' face lit up.

" TANGOOOO! I CAUGHT A FISHH!" Tango erupted with laughter, find his enthusiasm hilarious.

"Yeah buddy! You did!" He said in between chuckles. The small cod fish dangled from the rod, flapping wildly and trying to escape. The pro fisherman cut the hook off the line and gave the fish to Bubbles. As he struggled to get the hook out of the fish, Tango was carefully tying a new one onto the line. Bdubs carefully set the fish into the box, beaming with pride. "How about you try one on your own this time?" Tango asked his excited friend.

"Okay!" Bdubs scooped up the rod, already baited by Tango, and walked to the edge of the shore. He flung the rod back, trying to mimic his friend's movements. With a flick of the wrist, the rod started to travel forward. Bdubs felt it before Tango saw it. The small, barbed hook took hold of the soft skin on Bubble's cheek. The momentum of the rod tugged on injury, causing Bdubs to cry out in pain. Things seemed to be traveling in slow mothing. Him crumbing to the ground. Tango running over as fast as he could. Catching his friend and wrapping him in a tight hug. The pain was blinding, and he could feel the warm blood pouring down his neck. Tango had a terrified look on his face.

"B!" He shouted, "Stay with me! I can fix this." Tango set his friend down on the ground carefully, making sure not to tug on the fishing line. In one swift motion, he expertly cut the line and removed the hook. The blood was gushing now, having nothing to stop it from pouring all over Tango's hands. Bdubs was breathing heavily, blood pouring into his mouth as well. Tango studied the wound, trying to assess the situation when he remembered that he brought a medical kit with him. He knew Bdoubleo wasn't that accident prone, but he wanted to be prepared, and was glad that he did. Quickly getting gauze out, he put it in the builder's hand and guided it to the wound.

"You doin' okay bro?" he asked softly. The injured man responded with a pained grunt. "Can you try and sit up?" Bdubs gave s head motion with some resemblance of a nod. Tango helped him sit up and scootch over to lean against a tree. Taking in deep, shuddery breaths, Bdubs steadied himself as tango got out a needle, thread, hydrogen peroxide and some cotton pads. "How are you feeling now bud?" tango asked, his hand resting on Bdubs' shoulder.

"o-ow." he muttered in reply, with a small chuckle added on at the end. The nether-born joined in laughing.

"I'm gonna need to stich you up B, but I don't got any pain killers. I can give you an Advil, but it won't kick in for a while. Its gonna hurt, okay?" Bdubs nodded, and Tango squeezed his shoulder gently. He poured some of the hydrogen peroxide onto the cotton pads, and gently brought it to the wound. Bdubs removed the gauze from his cheek, revealing that the bleeding had stopped. The hydrogen peroxide bubbled in the gash, making Bdubs quite uncomfortable. Feeling something moving inside your skin was not the most pleasant sensation.

Tango got out the needle and thread, kneeling in front of Bdubs now. As the builder braced himself for the initial poke, he grabbed on to Tango's knee, needing to ground himself. His breathing stopped as he felt the cool metal pierce his skin. He squeezed his eyes shut as the pain continued, while Tango put more and more stiches in the wound.

As soon as he was finished, Tango pulled his whimpering friend into a tight hug.

"it's okay. You're okay now. Everything's gonna be fine." Bdubs let out a few shuddering breaths into his friend's shoulder, finally calming down.

"that was one hell of a fishing trip." Bdubs mumbled. Tango burst out laughing fir the second time that day.

"Damn right it was! Now let's get you home so you can have your well-deserved sleep."
