Oof, i'm really bad at updating. anyway, 1.5K READS?? YALL ARE AMAZING!! Hope you enjoy this part! (tw, Cold, Saddness, getting locked out)

When Xisuma was younger, he and Evil X lived together. Xisuma was happy living in their quaint cottage, adventuring by day and coding by night. This was before Hermitcraft was created. Xisuma was growing in fame, saving villages and discovering new biomes. Ex grew exceedingly jealous of his brother, and longed for power.

"Hey Exy! Just got back from a Pillagers raid! They gave me some bread, so I brought it home for you." Xisuma said as he walked in the door of their shared house. "Sure is chilly outside." Ex was sitting on the couch, scowling and mumbling. Xisuma handed him the bread, and Evil Xisuma ripped it out of his hand. "Well, someone's in a bad mood today." Xisuma wiggled off his helmet and collapsed on the couch. A relaxed sigh escaped his mouth.

"I'm as tired as a dog, but I can't sit for long. Gotta feed the chickens." X said. He looked to his brothers face for a reaction. Ex's face remained emotionless, and he slightly nodded. Xisuma stood, walked out the door, and went to the chicken coop.

By the time he was finished, it was dark. A small blizzard was kicking up. Xisuma stepped out of the chicken coop with a shiver, making his way back to the shared cottage. Sitting on the doorstep was Xisuma's helmet, the visor cracked. I was sure I left it in the house. X thought. He grabbed it and put it on, brushing off the dirt.

He put his hand on the doorknob. When he tried to turn it, the knob stopped.

"Exy! The doors locked!" X shouted to his brother. Silence. "Ex? Are you there?" A small yes was heard through the door. "Then open the door!" Silence again.

The blizzard was kicking up. Xisuma was not dressed for the weather, wearing only his green armour. He started banging on the door in desperation, shouting and pleading with his brother to let him in. Tears rolled down his face as he realized Ex wanted him to freeze. He slid down the door, crying into his knees. He was all alone.

Xisuma stood, realizing he needed to find shelter; he couldn't stay with his brother anymore. He set off in the direction of where he knew there was a village. Or at least he was pretty sure the village was in that direction. It was hard to tell where he was going with the blizzard. He could barely see two feet in front of him.

After what seemed like an hour of walking, X couldn't see the warm glow of thei- no, Ex's cabin. His limbs were starting to go numb and he was shivering violently. There was nothing around him. Xisuma felt so alone. Dark thoughts filled his head. He had no one anymore.

X tripped over a small chunk of ice and landed face first into the snow. He felt chilled to the bone. His chest was starting to hurt and he couldn't stop shivering. His feet had lost all feeling and he was stumbling around. The fresh snow wasn't helping him keep his balance either. He'd fallen so many times that he lost count.

Froze to the core, Xisuma collapsed to his knees. He knew that he had to keep moving. Every inch of his body was in pain, except for the parts he couldn't feel. A warm glow soon appeared up ahead. A village! He slowly crawled closer, but soon had to give up. He was on the very edge of the town. He tried to shout, but it only came out as a raspy whisper. "H-help." He said. His vision went black.

Waking up was one of the hardest things he'd ever done. Everything hurt, but he felt warm. He couldn't open his eyes, but he could tell there was someone near him. He was laying on a bed, but he knew it wasn't his. X pried his eyes open, flinching at the bright light. "Oh hun, you're awake." A young lady was leaning over him. Xisuma tried to sit up, but was gently pushed back down. "You need rest luv, it's going to be okay now." Xisuma eyes focused and he saw what looked to be a villager. She had long orange hair and a blue stethoscope. "Now, introductions." She said with a grin. "My name is Grace, and I'm the village doctor."

"M-my name is Xisuma." X said with a wheeze. Talking put a lot of strain on his lungs. "S-so doc, what's w-wrong with me?" Xisuma asked with a chuckle that quickly turned into a coughing fit.

"Well dear, for one, you got a sticky case of pneumonia. And secondly, you've got bad hypothermia. I don't know how long you've been outside in the blizzard for, but by how extensive your frostbite is, I'd say a full day or maybe even two days! It's gonna take you're a while to recover luv." Xisuma noticed his hands were covered in thick bandages, and his finger felt stiff. He slowly unwrapped them, and saw that his fingers were almost pure white. "You're gonna have some scarring from the frostbite," Grave started as she noticed him staring in disbelief. "But I won't have to chop off your fingers at least."

Xisuma smiled, not wanting to laugh again. Grace ruffled his hair, and the tucked the mound of blankets up under his chin. "Sleep tight luv!" Grace said with a whisper. She blew a kiss after she waltzed out the door. Xisuma felt warm. He never wanted to be cold again.
