(3rd POV)
So this is the wall? She thought to herself.
A young woman, was standing infront of the ominously tall wall. She pulled down her black cloaks' hood, revealing a beautiful face under the moonlight: pale skin, big glowing aqua green eyes and long (H/C) hair that flowed down her back. She stared up and looked at the night sky and sighed. It really was a beautiful night.
She walked towards the main gate where she recognized the symbol of Wall Maria. She found the huge crack where the Colossal Titan had kicked the wall 5 years ago. She walked in the tunnel observing the rubble. Once on the other side, she walked around the destroyed city of Shiganshina, but then she passed by a house with a big boulder that crushed the roof.
So this is the Yeager house? she said remembering the stories her father told her about the district.
But then something shined in the darkness and it caught her attention. She approached the rubble of the crushed house and found a silver ring, it was a simple band with several small diamond studs.
Father might want this...
She slipped it in her pouch, pulled her hood back on, hiding her emotionless expression and her dim eyes. Then she ran through the empty streets at an incredible speed, left the city, then kept running, across the silent fields not daring to slow down.
a few hours ago, in a small house several hundreds of kilometers from there
"If you keep running North, you will arrive at the main gate of Wall Maria at around midnight. Once you cross the wall, you'll be in the destroyed southern district of Shiganshina. Then you must cross the 100km distance to Wall Rose. You MUST get there before sunrise, at the gate of the wall, you shouldn't see any guards because of the Titans' low activity but once dawn comes, the garrison will be on guard, so make sure you get there before the sun rises. Once you're there, just scale the wall and sneak into Trost. Don't let anybody see you, and kill anybody who does. The Scout Regiment hideout should only be about 15 kilometers from the edge of Trost. After that, you know what to do." he explained pointing at the different locations on a map.
"Yes, father." she said putting her favorite black cape on.
"Good girl. I know you'll make me proud." said the blond man pushing his glasses up his nose.
"I won't disappoint you."
back to the present
Now she was facing the insignia of Wall Rose, the gate was closed and sure enough, there were no guards. She looked up at the sky that was still dark.
Good. It's not sunrise yet.
She bent down, took a running head start, then threw her arms up and propelling herself up. She jumped up the wall, then she quietly landed on top and looked over the sleeping city of Trost.
She ran on the top of the wall, quietly passing sleeping guards, until she found the boulder that her father told her about. The one that the titan shifter, had used to plug the breach. She jumped off the edge of the wall, did a small flip and landed gently on the rock. She then slid down to the ground at kept running through the narrow streets.
"Hey you! Who are you, and what are you doing outside at this time?" yelled a voice behind her.
She turned around to face the man, her hood still hiding her face. He was a Garrison soldier, who seemed to be early for patrol.
"Hey! Lower your hood and identify yourself!" he shouted pointing a 3DMG blade at her.
'Kill anybody that sees you.' Those were Father's orders. She told herself.
She took a knife from her belt and before he could even scream, she used the sharp blade to slit his throat. She swiped the blood of the blade and put it away. Blood gushed out of the wound along with his esophagus. His corpse fell on the road, a pool of blood slowly spreading on the uneven stones.
The girl didn't even look at the body, she just kept running until she was out of Trost.
time skip
She didn't stop moving until she finally made it to a small hut in the woods. She stood flat against the wall and peeked inside through the window. The inside was dark and dusty. There were cobwebs everywhere and the food was moldy.
They're not here yet...
She opened the window and slipped inside closing it behind her. The sun was rising, giving her a little bit of light. She walked to the stairs that led to the bedroom. But then she heard several voices approach the entrance below her.
"Captain! We're here!" exclaimed one.
"Good." said a flat voice.
She ran up the stairs, went to the end of the hall, she swiftly removed the very last floor board and went under the floor. It was very dusty so she pinched her nose to avoid sneezing.
"Cadets! I need to go talk to Commander Erwin. When I get back this place better be cleaned up."
"Yes sir!" shouted a bunch of other voices.
She heard the front door close, then the others who were still down stairs began to unload boxes.
time skip
"Sasha! Don't take that!" yelled a male voice.
"Take what? I didn't take anything." lied Sasha.
"Guys! We have to finish cleaning. Jean! You're not doing anything! Captain Levi is going to come back and believe me, he's going to beat the shit out of us if it's not clean." yelled another boy.
"Calm down Yeager!"
Yeager? thought the girl listening from under the floorboards.
Then the door opened, and the Cadets all greeted the Captain.
"Tch, I'm sure you brats could have done better in that time, but we have more important things to talk about."
They talked for awhile about how to reclaim Wall Maria, a certain Minister Nick's death, the Military Police corruption and then the voice of a young girl, Christa, recited her past and her real name Historia Reiss.
The room went silent for awhile, until Levi ordered them to finish the cleaning. They all hopped to it. By nightfall, they were done with both floors and when the Corporal was content, he sent them all off to bed in their rooms. And the girl was getting tired of hiding under the floor
The girl, still hidden under the floor, felt the Captain walk on the board above her, then entered the bedroom door to her left but she didn't hear the door close.
