Just a quick heads up, I watched both the anime and the manga, and both versions of this part clashes pretty badly, if you watched both versions you probably noticed this too, so sorry if I mix both up...
And ps: it's a bit late to say, but I tend to use both Yeager and Jeager. In different stories I can use one or other, here I used Y, if you prefer it spelt with a J, I'm sorry...

(Levi's POV)
Once the cadets and Yeager were ready, we went to find Hitch and Marlo who were waiting for us in the exact spot where Jean left them. To be honest I was surprised that they didn't run away, I guess Kirshtein really did test them well.
We had given them their gear back then we followed the two cadets' directions through the darkness for several minutes, until they suddenly stopped in their tracks.
"Okay, just keep going in this direction and you'll find the base." said Hitch.
"Good. Now this is where we go our separate ways, go join your unit to avoid suspicion." I ordered.
"Okay." they both said.
"Hey, Marlo, Hitch." I called as they walked away. "Thanks for your help."
"Yes sir!" they saluted, then they ran in the forest to regain their squad.
We kept going for about 6 minutes until (Y/N) told us that she could see a building in the middle of a grass field. I ordered the squad to stay hidden in the tall grass and to keep watch while me and Yeager went to check to see if it's really the right building.
We left the cadets and made our way through the grass, and for once I was grateful I was short. Because of my 160 cm height, I didn't have to uncomfortably crouch down, the grass only came to me torsos so I could move normally. We made our way around the building, at a safe distance of 15 meter. Once we were infront of the entrance I squinted my eyes to try to see the gate better.
"Don't bother, you'll just hurt you eyes." whispered (Y/N).
"I don't need you worrying about my health brat." I hissed.
"So I suppose you don't want me to just tell you if that's the right building?" she said, hiding the sarcasm in her remark.
"~sigh~ Just tell me Yeager." I answered exasperated.
"Whatever you say Levi... yes it's the right building."
"You're sure?"
"It's written Interior Brigade Compound on the building door..."
I took her by the wrist and dragged her back to the cadets who were still behind the grass, loading their guns.
"We're sure of it, we are at the Interior Brigade Compound." I declared throwing her wrist towards the others.
All of them had a nervous look on their face except for Mikasa and (Y/N) who seemed to be pretty calm. Which I guess wasn't very surprising, just yesterday Jean almost got shot and now we were going to cut down MPs.
I checked my blades, made sure they were all intact, as good as I am with a gun, I still prefer to use a weapon that I have complete control over. I looked over my shoulder and first shot a glance at Connie, Sasha and Jean who were removing the safety of their firearms, Mikasa was already prepared, gun over her shoulder and blades out and Armin had taken his position on the cart. But my gaze lingered on (Y/N) who was pulling out her knives one by one making sure they were all there.
