(Levi's POV)
We regrouped to the front of the wall where Erwin was. The beast titan was further away, past the houses with a mass of different class titans at his sides. I looked at my assistant who despite her stone face, had a look of pure disgust and hatred in her turquoise orbs as she recognised her ex-father. I flashed a look at inside the city, and saw the armored titan hardening his feet and hands and jumping on the wall.
"Erwin. He's going to come up." I said.
As Reiner began to scale the surface of wall, Erwin didn't seem to care, he just kept a steady look at the Beast Titan, with that calculating glare in his eyes. When the hairy bastard raised his fist and slammed it down and the smaller titans moved towards us, Erwin's face instantly changed from thinking to 'knowing exactly what to do'.
"Commander! The Armored Titan is getting dangerously close!" exclaimed Jean.
"Yes I know." was all he said.
"So. Got a plan? Or should I get breakfast after all?" I said sarcastically.
"Squads Dirk and Marlene! Go join squad Klaus and protect the horse with your lives. Squad Hange and Levi, take down the Armored Titan. Get the thunder spears but only use them when ordered to. You know your orders! Now go carry out your duties for humanity!" he ordered.
"Yes sir!" they all said as the newer members jumped down to the horses.
I was about to leave with the rest of my squad but Erwin stopped us.
"Armin, Levi and (Y/N), you three stay here." he said.
"You want us protecting the horse instead of my brother?" (Y/N) asked hesitantly.
"Correct. Because you two are the only ones I can trust to take down the Beast Titan."
"Understood. I will carve that bastard up with my own two hands." I declared before jumping down with my second in command.
We I zipped through ruins, (Y/N) running on the ground right below me. We saw squad dirk spread around the rubble in small groups with the remaining horses. We went straight for the nearest 4 meter titans. There we 4 of them and they were nearing Marlo's group. I decapitated two of them and the girl slash the other two's necks with her knives.
"Captain Levi! Vice squad leader (Y/N)!" I heard Marlo shout in a mix of fear and admiration.
"Squad Marlene, get rid of these small titans. You are prohibited to die here against these runts. Squad Dirk continue to bring the horses to shelter! Understood?!"I ordered.
"Yes sir!" they replied before zipping away.
I stood on a roof with (Y/N) standing right behind me, the wind blowing in our capes and hair and whipping against our faces. We watched in dismay as the recruits struggled against puny 3 meter titans with even some casualties.
Damn... I hate the weak...
But eventually they were taken down but that's when a huge explosion boomed from the other side of the wall. But I stayed focus on my side of the wall. And just as I got my thought straight, Dirk came up to me and said:
"All moped up inside the building area sir! But how are we going to take out the Beast Titan?" he asked. "He's just staying there and didn't do anything yet."
"I guess he's just expecting his underlines to do shit for him." I said. "Just go get rid of the remaining small ones."
"Yes sir!" he said before shooting away with his soldiers.
