You and Taylor broke up three weeks ago. Since you're a singer yourself with big dreams, when Shawn asked you to going with him on tour, you couldn't resist. That meant leaving everything behind and chasing your dreams. You also had to leave your best friend and boyfriend, Taylor. He understood, he has dreams too. Plus, your relationship was kinda rocky since he has to go on the road himself for the RV Project. You two ended it a week before the tour started. You never thought it would end that way. Both your dreams took you in different directions.

The tour has been crazy! Thousands of fans showed up each night and not to mention they have been super supportive. We were currently in Texas for our 13th stop. The show was already starting, Jake Foushee was in town so he agreed to be the MC for tonight.
"Ladies and gentleman please welcome Y/F/N!" Jake said to the mic. The fans roared. I grabbed my guitar and waved to the fans as I walked to the stool that stood in the middle of the stage. "Hi guys!" The crowd screamed, I heard a few greetings from the front row. "Tonight, I'm going to be singing a cover of Sad Song by We The Kings featuring Elena Coats. Hope you enjoy!"
I began playing the intro:

'You and I,
We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky.
With you, I'm alive
Like all the missing pieces of my heart, they finally collide.
So stop time right here in the moonlight,
Cause I don't ever wanna close my eyes.
Without you, I feel broke.
Like I'm half of a whole.
Without you, I've got no hand to hold.
Without you, I feel torn.
Like a sail in a storm.
Without you, I'm just a sad song.
I'm just a sad song.
With you I fall.
It's like I'm leaving all my past in silhouettes up on the wall.
With you I'm a beautiful mess.
It's like we're standing hand in hand with all our fears up on the edge.
You're the perfect melody,
The only harmony
I wanna hear.
You're my favorite part of me,
With you standing next to me,
I've got nothing to fear.
Without you, I feel broke.
Like I'm half of a whole.
Without you, I've got no hand to hold.
Without you, I feel torn.
Like a sail in a storm.
Without you, I'm just a sad song.
Without you, I feel broke.
Like I'm half of a whole.
Without you, I've got no hand to hold.
Without you, I feel torn.
Like a sail in a storm.
Without you, I'm just a sad song.
I'm just a sad song.'

The crowd roared once again. I played a few more songs. I thanked them and walked off stage. Shawn have me a hug before running to start his concert.
I walked to my dressing room and sat down on the couch. Adrenaline still pumping through my body. I sat up and opened my suitcase. My phone was buzzing, I grabbed it and I saw a Twitter notification, from Taylor. Curious, I unlocked my phone and looked at what he tweeted. It was a photo of me smiling at the crowd with the caption:
@taylorcaniff: She killed it tonight😘💕👏.
I RT'd (retweeted) and faved it. I never expected him to show up tonight or ever. "You did great up there." I looked up, it was Taylor. I smiled and ran to hug him. "What are you doing here." I laughed whilst he spun me around. "I had a meet and greet earlier and I wanted to support you and Shawn." He smiled. I smiled but it soon faded away. I remembered we aren't together anymore. I pulled away from his grip and sat back down on the couch.
It was awkward, I'm gonna guess he remembered too. "What happened to us?" He said sitting across from me. "We broke up." I mumbled. He sighed, "Was it because of the RV Project?" "No!" I said quickly. "Then what." It was my turn to sigh. "Our relationship was falling apart. Couldn't you see?" He shook his head. "Well I did. We barely talked, and it killed me. For a whole week I didn't know if you were even alive until Michael posted a picture of you and him. Taylor, even if we did talk, it would've lasted for only a few minutes. Or worse, we would argue." "I'm sorry." He whispered. "And it wasn't just our relationship falling apart. I was falling apart too." I whispered the last part. "I get it okay and I'm so sorry. I should've cared more. I didn't come here to only support you guys." I raised an eyebrow. "I also came here because I'm hoping you would give me a second chance." "Taylor I don't know. I'm on tou-" He put a finger on my lips to stop me from talking. "Shawn told me you've been down for a few days now. So, he let me tag along with you guys." I smiled, he took his finger away and crashed his lips onto mines. I smiled and kissed back. I missed moments like these. I missed his lips. And most importantly I missed Taylor. "I'm never letting you go ever again." He said before pulling me into a hug. "I love you Taylor." "I love you more Y/N."
