I composed myself and shifted on my seat. Well, hindi naman nakakahiyang nauna pa ako dito sa restaurant kung saan naka-set ang date ko sa kaibigan ni Vexy. Pinatulan ko na kasi bored ako, I wanted to explore.

Hinimas ko ang labi ng baso sa harapan ko bago ko inangat ang tingin ko sa entrance. Right there and then, I saw a man entering the restaurant. Napaayos pa ako ng tayo dahil pamilyar sya sa akin.

He's a lawyer, if I'm not mistaken.

Dumiretso sya sa pwesto ko, I didn't tore my eyes off of him. He gracefully stood infront of me and gave me a small smile. Tumayo ako to approached him.

"Hi, sorry if I am late." He politely said.

"It's okay. Sanay naman ako maghintay." I smirked and slightly scanned his whole being.

He's wearing a simple white tshirt and jeans with his converse. His hair is brush up with his narrowed eyes and pointed nose. Thick but red lips. And his fucking jawline. Man, Vexy didn't mention about his common friend like this.

"I'm Crime Dizon by the way." He held his hand to me.

I took and shook it, "Emsi Lausingco, nice meeting you."

He flashed his cocky smile. Napasimangot ako nang maalala si Vini sa cocky smile na iyon. Bwusit naman.

"Let's sit."

Tumango ako at binawi ang kamay ko sa pagkakahawak nya. We ordered our food and started our conversation.

"I remember you actually, you used to interview me. That's why when Vexy showed me your picture, I inmediately agreed to have a date with you."

Pinatong ko ang siko ko sa lamesa at sinalo ng kamay ko ang baba ko.

"Anyway, why are you looking for a date? If I'm not mistaken, isa ka sa mga hinahabol na bachelor lawyer. No time for that?"

He narrowed his eyes at me, "I'm a busy person before so I don't have time for that... But right now, I have time to know you more, if you'll allow me."

Ngumisi ako. I leaned towards the table, literally expossing my cleavage in his eyes. Kita kong napasulyap sya doon. Oh boy, I got yah. Since I'm wearing a black sando top and a fitted jeans.

"Have you been in a relationship before, Attorney?" Nilandian ko talaga ang tono ng boses ko.

Crime shifted on his seat and cleared his throat.

"Yeah. I'm a one man, one woman."

Tumango ako. Our conversation went on and on. Ako ang madalas na nagtatanong sa kanya habang kapag sumasagot sya ay natutulala ako the way he delivered his answered. Fluent at ingat na ingat ang bawat pagimik nya, kalmado din.

We ordered wine and dessert, I insisted it. Gusto ko pa syang makasama at makausap. Malandi kaai ako.

Nahinto ang pagimik ko nang magring ang cellphone ko sa tabi ng wine glass ko. Vini's annoying face appeared on the screen. Mabilis kong nireject iyon. Kaso tumunog uli.

"You should answer it, baka importante."

"Oh, hindi naman. Mamemeste lang iyan." Tinaob ko ang phone ko matapos kong isilent at hinarap si Crime. "So, where were we? Continue with your answer."

"I would like to keep it lowkey, hindi naman sa pagmamayabang pero I don't like spotlight. I'm fine being with who am I today."

I bit my lower lip. Why does he have to be sexy in my eyes? Compared to Vini, well, he's sexy also but not in thw way that I saw at Crime.
