Breathless (Kirishima x Midoriya)

Part 12

Midoriya's POV

''Hey guys.'' Sero says with a nervous smile rather than his usual crackhead expression. ''Me and Kami have something to tell you.'' he says before grabbing Kaminari's hand. ''We're dating.'' he says quietly.

''Awe, that's adorable. You guys deserve each other.'' I say cheerfully. I'm trying to distract myself from the fact that my mothers probably going to appear sooner or later and that means she'll be bringing Ryo. Kaminari smiles at me and Sero's just flustered.

We head into the store and search through the different tuxes and suits. I find a pale green one with a red undershirt/vest that matches my iconic red boots. I won't wear a tie and I'll undo a few of the top buttons of the white shirt I'm buying to go with it. ''I'm sorted Ei.'' I smile to my beautiful boyfriend. He smiles back and shows me the dark red suit he picked out with a black undershirt/vest. I gasp slightly when I have an amazing idea. ''We should get promise rings.'' I say excitedly.

He gives a questioning look but smiles. ''That's a cute idea.'' he says sweetly. We pay for our outfits before heading to a jewellery store. I ask for two matching rings, basic silver with the words 'one page of the bible' and 'isn't worth a life' engraved on them. We agreed on the way here that those were the lyrics we wanted. It's from a song we both like called 'the village' which is mainly about transgenders and trans-sexuals but this line is left for guessing. It basically means, just because one page of the bible says being trans or gay is wrong, doesn't mean you should ruin their lives.

It hit's Kachan really hard so I also asked for an engraved necklace for him. I know Ei knows about Kachan so he didn't question it. The person at the counter had this cool quirk so the rings and necklace were finished within 10 minutes. We headed back to the others and I gave Kachan the necklace. He gave a genuine and bright smile and he had tears in his eyes as he thanked me.

Soon enough, we all had our dresses or suits so we headed back to the food court and met with the teachers. We were the last students so we all ordered our food and the class spread out over 4 tables while we ate. I sat with the bakusquad again as I anxiously awaited the arrival of my nervous mother. Of course, I jinxed it earlier because I get a message from my mother saying she's just entering the mall but she had Ryo so she didn't want to just appear with him.

I told Mr Aizawa my mom was here and he said I could go but to share my location with him and keep my ringer on so I knew when we were leaving. I finished my food quickly before meeting with my mother. When I saw her, I took Ryo from her arms and held him close, cradling him. I kissed the tip of his nose as he looked up at me and giggled sweetly. ''I feel so bad for leaving him with you ma.'' I say sadly.

''It's fine, he's finally sleeping through most nights. He turns 4 months-''

''Tomorrow, I know.'' I smile and mom smiles back. ''God, he's so big.'' I say before looking at Ryo again. ''Yes you are sweetie.'' I say and Ryo giggles sweetly. ''Wanna walk around for a bit?'' I ask, not wanting to leave Ryo again. My mom nods so we head towards the food court again, I'll just avoid the others while we get a milkshake. My mom orders while I rock Ryo slightly, waiting for her. She soon walks up to me with a coffee. She offers me a sip before we head off again.

We head to a baby store to get more stuff for Ryo. We buy some more clothes and a little plush rabbit which he made grabby hands at. I gave it to him and he hugged it tightly, falling asleep almost instantly. My phone goes off so I assume it's Aizawa and pull it out. I was right. I don't wanna leave Ryo yet so mom walks with me to the coach and just before I get into eye-shot of my classmates, I hand Ryo over to my mom reluctantly and kiss both goodbye. I climb onto the coach and the others greet me with questions about where I went which I don't answer properly, just saying it was about Aoi which is kinda was.
