Breathless (Kirishima x Midoriya)

Part 30

Midoriya's PoV

The tears that brimmed in my eyes weren't of sadness or regret, however. They were of happiness. Not only was the baby alive, but there were two. She'd had twins. ''Wanna hold?'' she asks with a smile.

''Of course I do but think Kachan should be the first to hold them.'' I smile and she nods. ''How did this happen though, only 1 showed up on the scan.'' I state and she has the same confused face I did as she shrugs slightly.

''Oh, that's where I come in.'' a doctor says from the door. We both look at her as I sit down and she smiles. ''I'm supposed to use 'doctor talk' but I'll make this simple to understand. When we took the scan, the other twin was simply hidden behind it's sibling. It doesn't happen often but it also explains why the child was so small, the nutrients your body had on store were not only being shared with one child but 2 so the children were simply underdeveloped with you being so skinny and all.'' the doctor says.

''Are you dad or just the closest friend on hand?'' the doctor asks. 

''Closest friend on hand but I can ring the dad.'' I smile and pull out my phone. ''Hey Kachan, you're needed at the hospital, it's Mina-''

''Did something happen?!'' he asks nervously, cutting me off.

''Kachan, just get your ass here, I'm not explaining over the phone!'' I growl.

''No! She's my girlfriend and I deserve to know why the fuck she's in hospital- wait...'' he growls, half way through, realising something. He started to connect the dots, no mood swings meaning no periods, the time range of when they fucked, why I said she was okay but wouldn't say what on the phone. ''Shit, is she pregnant?'' he says quietly. I assume he's still with Eijiro or maybe even at the clubhouse.

''Yeah now just get over here!'' I groan.

''Holy shit! You're being serious? I'm gonna be a dad?'' he asks seriously.

''Going to be? You already are now get your ass over here or I'll hold your children before you!'' I groan. 

''Okay! Geez, I'm on my way but I need your help to keep the squad away. I'm at the clubhouse.'' he says and then I hear muffled shouting on the other line then a car starting before he puts the phone down.

''Sorry, he's kinda stupid.'' I say and the doctor smiles. I turn back to Mina and give a sweet smile, ''He said he's on his way but he was at the clubhouse and everyone heard him say 'I'm gonna be a dad?' so... I'm going to have to hold them off.'' I say and she nods. I can't exactly hug her while she's holding the babies so instead, I kiss her forehead and leave the room to wait for the others.

Within 2 minutes, I see a white limo pull up and Kachan, Eijiro and the girls hop out of the car. Thank All Might that Kaminari and Sero aren't here but I also wonder where Iida and Todoroki are. Maybe they finally went on a date.

''Oi! Leave him alone, jesus!'' I complain to the girls who are eager to know who Kachan knocked up. They reluctantly sit down and Kachan goes to see Mina.

''It's a shame really, I always thought Mina and Bakugo would end up together.'' Jirou says and me and Eijiro burst out in laughter. The girls look weirdly at me and Eijiro who continued to snicker loudly. ''What? You can't tell me you never thought Bakugo and Mina would end up together?'' Jirou asks in disbelief.
