Breathless (Kirishima x Midoriya)

Part 13

Midoriya's PoV

When we got back, I felt awful for leaving Ryo again so I just went to my room so no one could see if I started crying. Once I got up there, I did start crying so I curled into a ball on my bed. I put some music on in hopes to drown out my sobs. Soon enough, I calmed down a little and grabbed a bottle of WKD from my secret stash of alcohol.

I sip it slowly as I let the, now rather depressing, music drown out my thoughts again. I hear a knock at the door. ''Who is it?'' I ask after a second. My voice was hoarse and shaky and probably worried whoever's on the other side of the door.

''It's Uraraka, Tsu, Iida and Todoroki. You seemed upset at the mall so we wanted to- oh Deku...'' Uraraka starts but changes course when I open the door. She hugs me tightly. ''What happened?'' she asks and I just move to the side and let them in. I was smart enough to hide the bottle of WKD before hand.

''Nothing much, just ran into an ex... she was less than perfect, cease to say.'' I admit, closing my door. I lean back against the wall and breathe deeply, drinking some water in a weak attempt to somewhat sober myself. I'm not drunk but I am the slightest bit tipsy. I sigh loudly. ''She used to hurt me a lot while me were dating, I've got a restraining order against her now though so the police can handle this.'' I say before sinking down the way.

I try not to cry but I can't help it so I bury my face into my knees as I hug them.

"Hey, it's okay.'' I hear from beside me then a few sets of arms wrap around me. I look up and blink a few times to clear my vision of tears.

''I'm sorry.'' I mutter.

"For what?" Todoroki asks.

"I'm just being weak... and pathetic again.'' I say, interrupting myself with a sob.

''Hey, don't you dare talk about yourself like that.'' Iida says.

''Yeah, You have godly strength. Kero ...Your Small Might.'' Tsu says with a smile making us all laugh.

''Thanks guys but I...'' I take a long pause they look at me weirdly before I finally continue on. ''I need to talk the girls about something.'' I say, deciding it's time to finally open up a bit. The guys leave and it's just me, Uraraka and Tsu who are sat on either side of me. We moved to the bed and I watch my hands as they shake violently. ''M-my ex...'' I say with a shaky voice.

Uraraka rubs my back, ''Hey, take your time.'' she says softly before hugging me tightly. I lean into the touch to calm myself down.

''Last year, o-on my birthday, we had this big party.'' I start, slowly working towards what I'm trying to say. ''And there was alcohol. I wasn't drunk per se b-but I could only remember sections of the night, getting worse as the night progressed. I remember... s-she was on t-top of me. A-and I asked h-her to stop b-but I could barely m-move. I didn't want to but s-she said i-it'd make me happy a-and not to t-tell anyone b-because they'd t-think I'm a slu-ut.'' I choke out before crying again.

''Midoriya, that's rape. She can't get away with that.'' Tsu says.

''Tsu's right, you have to tell someone and you're not a slut Deku, you're a victim.'' Uraraka chimes in. ''Have you told anyone else?''

''Umm... Kachan knows as much as you guys, maybe a little more because she also tried it on him. He couldn't charge for sexual assault but the court agreed to get a restraining order. She's a few years older than us, she's about 18 but she was a family friend so we spent our whole childhood with her.'' I explain. ''B-but I was h-hoping you guys would c-come with me i-if I chose to p-press char-arges.'' I say, tripping on my words again.

''Of course we would but don't you need evidence for them to make an arrest?'' Tsu says. I bite my lip slightly.

I hesitate for a second, ''I do have evidence...''
