Breathless (Kirishima x Midoriya)

Part 14

Midoriya's PoV

The rest of the day was spent with Uraraka, Tsu and Kachan at the police station. After I finished telling them, they asked for the proof I had so I told them about Kachan's past incident which he found with ease (the case file) and I also told him about Ryo and an officer was sent to my house to go to a hospital with my mom and Ryo for blood testing. I was told to stay here and the others weren't told about Ryo which is good. After a while, Ei walked through the doors and walked up to me and he just held me in his arms as I started crying.

''Bakugo told me you were here but he said it wasn't his place to say why so can you please explain Izu?'' he asks me quietly as we sit down. I stay quiet for a moment and Ei raises his hand. I flinch, thinking he's gonna hit me for not answering but instead, he puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me close. ''Hey, in your own time.'' he smiles down at me as I rest my head on his shoulder.

''If it's too much Deku, I can tell him. Kero.'' Tsu offers with a shy smile and I nod slightly and instead, decide to hug Kachan, letting Uraraka rest her head on my shoulder, as Tsu and Ei get up to talk.

''Thanks guys...'' I mumble quietly. Uraraka grabs my hand in both of hers and looks at me.

''Deku, you're my best friend, you don't even have to ask.'' she smiles brightly as she moves to looks at me. ''And I'm glad we could help.'' After she finishes talking, Tsu and Ei make their way towards us and I move to sit in Ei's lap, Tsu and Uraraka also cuddling close to each other. Kachan also rests his head on Ei's shoulder and Uraraka and Tsu on the other side, lean on us.

We stay like that for a while and Uraraka and Kachan even fell asleep after a while. It got to about 1 am and Tsu was also asleep when a police officer walked through the door with Aoi in handcuffs. I tap Kachan who wakes up instantly. Ei hugs me protectively as we watch her trying to free herself. She eventually gave up and instead, just spat at us and called us all faggots.

The girls woke up from that obviously and Present Mic appeared to take us back to the dorms. ''I'm proud of you Midoriya, it takes a lot of guts to admit something like that.'' Present Mic says to break the awkward silence. I lace my fingers with Ei's and he squeezes my hand slightly.

''It really was hard but I have the best friends ever.'' I say with a weak smile, squeezing Ei's hand again.

''I'm glad that bitch is finally going away but I have to ask, my case alone wouldn't have been enough so how did you prove your claim?'' Kachan asks with a growl but his voice softens as he continues to talk. He turns to look at me from the front seat and smiles slightly, seeing my hand intertwined with Ei's.

''Uh... I-I'd rather not talk about it.'' I mumble and he turns back around with a 'tsk'. I decide to go on my phone for a bit and I see a message from my mother.

MommaMidoriya - I'm proud of you but I wish you'd told me

SmolMight - I'm sorry Ma, I was ashamed but I'm not anymore and I'm glad it also gave Katsuki some closure

MommaMidoriya - Me too hun, you still coming down tomorrow?

SmolMight - Of course, can't wait to see Ryo again, I feel so bad that I have to keep leaving ;-;

MommaMidoriya - I know but it's not like he'll remember when he's older and he loves you

SmolMight - Gotta go Ma, love you both xx

Ei helps me out of the car and we head to his dorm to snuggle, no way I'm sleeping alone tonight. We lay down on his bed and I let a few stay tears trickle down my cheeks as the memories flood back again. It's not as painful anymore but it still hurts.

Ei cuddles me tightly and I bury my head into his chest as I sob. ''How's Midoriya?'' I hear from the door but I don't bother checking who it is.

''Shaken up and upset, obviously but he'll be okay.'' I hear Ei say, his grip around me tightening slightly.

''Okay um, see you guys later.'' the voice says and the door closes again.

''Who was that Ei?'' I ask.

''Mineta.'' he says with a slight scoff.

''Oh, so the class knows?''

''Apparently.''

We leave it at that and snuggle until we both fall asleep.
