Breathless (Kirishima x Midoriya)

Part 27

Midoriya's PoV

My eyes flutter open and I turn over to look at Eijiro. His eyes open as if on cue and he smiles at me. ''Hey, you were pretty late to bed.'' he says sweetly.

''Sorry, I'd had a coffee, knew I wouldn't sleep so I stayed downstairs so I didn't wake you up with my hyper activity.'' I respond sheepishly. It wasn't exactly the truth but I did have a coffee and I do have hyperactivity so...

''Oh, stop drinking coffee then, I wanted snuggles.'' he pouts. I turn back over and shuffle backwards slightly and Eiji wraps his arms around me and holds me close. We cuddle for a while before I hear a knock at the door followed by Momo's voice. 

''Hey Kirishima, Midoriya's not in his room so he's probably with you. Just came to say that Bakugo and Mina made pancakes.'' she says. We hear receding footsteps so we get up, change into some clothes and head downstairs.

''Morning guys.'' I smile. Mina looks like she hasn't slept a wink. I sit beside her, Kachan on her other side and Eijiro sits next to me.

''What languages do you guys speak?'' Kaminari asks out of the blue.

''Spanish.'' Sero says.

''I speak english, german, spanish and polish. I also know sign.'' I say and people give me weird looks, ''I was a smart child with all the time in the world.'' I say and they give a strange look but we continue on.

''English.'' Mina says.

''Polish.'' Kachan says, surprising everyone. ''I had a polish friend as a child, knew him since I was 1 and a half so I picked up the language and obviously cuz Deku knows it, my parents thought I should too.'' he groans slightly.

''I think most of us only know Japanese.'' Todoroki says.

''I speak french, purely because of Aoyama.'' Iida says. ''Not fluently of course but I can form a coherent sentence.''

''I still can't believe Aoyama left the squad.'' Hagakure says.

''I still can't believe Kachan agreed to the clubhouse.'' I continue.

''I know, that really was unexpected.'' Iida adds.

''Yeah, what an idiot.'' Kachan says and we all laugh. We finish eating before most of the couples wonder of for dates or whatever. Mina and Kachan stayed with Eijiro and I and we decided to go on a double date. We got dressed in some cute but casual clothing and headed out, me wearing my signature 12 inch heels because I'm sHoRt~

During our time at UA, we not only found people we love and who love us but we found ourselves. Me and Kaminari are genderfluid. That means that me and Kaminari's genders can change as quickly as multiple times a day or as slow as once every few months. I still think Todoroki-kun is trans but he hasn't confirmed anything so I decided not to bring it up.

I'm feeling pretty girly so I decided on some denim booty shorts, a blue crop top, long-sleeved and some matching blue heels, knee-high. Eijiro looks at me and smiles, chuckling slightly when he sees my heels. He never did get over the fact that I can walk in these.

Mina chuckles at my ability to walk in heels but she can also walk in heels this high. Kachan walks downstairs and we head to a cat cafe down the street. We walk in, a nice girl greets us and we move and sit down in a booth. Immediately, a little ginger cat comes and curls up in my lap. I pet it while we order our drinks. I got a rainbow unicorn frappuccino as always along with a millionaire shortbread donut which I shared with Ei. Mina got the same order but with whipped cream on her frappuccino.

Kachan and Ei just got caramel coffees and shared the donuts Mina and I got. It was nice and we talked about movies we wanted to see and about ourselves and each other. Mina's pregnancy was never brought up and I could tell she was a little tense.

She calmed down after a while and the date went on. We finished our drinks and donuts and Kachan asked to talk to Eijiro about something so me and Mina got up and into the car. I started it up and we began to drive, talking a little more about the pregnancy and stuff. She said that if she did have a miscarriage before Kachan knew that we wouldn't mention it again. I agreed to those terms but said that is she did have a miscarriage, that she would have to talk to a therapist or me, her pick.

''Thanks Mido.'' she says glancing at me before looking away. My eyes quickly flick her way before I focus on the road and the lights again. The light changes to green so I start to drive again. ''MIDO!!'' Mina screams and I turn my head to see a car speeding down the road beside it. Just as I go to step on the breaks, the car collides with mine, sending the car sidewards. We hit another and I protectively put my hands over Mina's stomach as shards of glass fly everywhere.

I unplug her seatbelt once the car stops moving and hold her close to me. I remember slipping slowly out of consciousness and I remember paramedics loading Mina and I into an ambulance before I pass out from blood loss.
